"Yes, you're absolutely right."

Jungkook watched Taehyung's lips form a wide smile and was stunned by the effect it had on the other's face.

He was beautiful before, but now, Taehyung seemed to be glowing, as if there was a bubbling warmth, sunlight within him that had spilled out along with the smile.

Jungkook couldn't help but stare. The expression was so different from the usual one.

He always carried that bit of gloom, as if even if Taehyung wanted it to, the grief and sadness would follow him everywhere. And though he might smile or laugh, there was an undertone of despair to it. Jungkook had heard it quite often, and didn't know how he could help the other.

Now though, Jungkook couldn't find those dark emotions on his face, and it made him feel...satisfied and at peace even. Making Taehyung smile felt like an achievement to Jungkook, and he returned the sweet smile with his own.

"Hey? Why are you staring again?"

Taehyung's question snapped him out of his thoughts, and Jungkook shook his head.

"It's nothing." He said and beckoned for Taehyung to follow him. "C'mon. We have a movie to catch."

Taehyung's eyes widened slightly. "What? Which movie? You didn't tell me-"

"Sorry." Jungkook gave him a sheepish look. "I had planned to go out somewhere else, but since Jimin ditched us, I thought we should just settle to watch a movie together. But if you want we can-"

"No! That's fine." Taehyung interrupted him. "We can watch the movie. I don't mind."

"You sure? You don't want to go anywhere else?" Jungkook asked. He was certain Taehyung was going to say something, maybe suggest a different place to hang out?

"Yes. Let's go watch a movie." Taehyung nodded and gave him another one of his pretty smiles.

"Uh...but which movie is it?"

"Oh yeah-" Jungkook mentally slapped himself as they walked to the lobby of SKYLARK. He hadn't told Taehyung anything. "It's called 'Parasite'. I heard its a great movie. It's got a couple good reviews."

"Oh I see. That's good." Taehyung said from behind him.

Jungkook frowned. The movie had gained quite an international fanbase after its release, but from Taehyung's words it seemed he wasn't familiar with it. "You don't know about the movie? It was in the news, nominated for quite a few film awards." Jungkook turned to him, question in his eyes.

"Uh...I don't watch the news much." Taehyung said with an indifferent shrug. "It's-" he stopped midway and bit his lower lip.

"What is it?" Jungkook asked, as he signaled for their bodyguard to join them. "Why did you stop? Say it."

"I just don't like watching news of the human world." Taehyung said and licked his lips. "It's too depressing for my taste."

"Oh..."

"Yes. Everyday there is some news about an accident or death or something happening to someone. It's too much for me."

Jungkook nodded, understanding where he was coming from, but was it really too much for Taehyung? He had been here for a long time, seen a lot of things and it still affected him?

"It never gets easy." Taehyung whispered to him, as if he had guessed what was going on in Jungkook's mind. "It's never the same, watching everything that goes on in your world. Individuals like me, with powers and who can manipulate time, it's torture to see people commit heinous crimes and hurt other humans."
