"I hate when you do stupid stuff. Going to get yourself killed." I mumbled.

Steve shook his head behind me, grabbing his shield and following my lead. It took a little bit of searching, but I eventually was able to find what we were looking for.

I slowly opened the door, giving myself a silent victory in my head for finding the right room. When Steve noticed where we were, he pushed himself in front of me, holding his shield protectively in front of the two of us as we made our way down the steps.

As Steve looked to see if there was someone in the pilot's seat, I stayed back to look at the glowing blue thing in the middle of the room. That's when we heard Schmidt come out from the shadows, holding one of Hydra's fancy blasters.

"You don't give up, do you?" He yelled, shooting at Steve who blocked the blast with his shield. That thing really does come in handy.

"Nope!"

Steve charged at the red-skulled man, protecting himself from another blast, then used his shield to knock the gun out of Shmidt's hand, making the two go hand to hand.

As this happened, I carefully moved to the pilot's seat, trying not to draw attention to myself and get shot at. When I successfully made it, I looked around at the control panel, trying to figure out how to safely land this thing.

Sadly, the two decided that it would be a good idea to bring the fight up to me, and Red Skull landed right on the control panel, making sparks fly and the plane go down.

"Hey!" I screamed at them. "Don't." Hit. "Fuck." Hit. "This." Hit. "Shit." Hit. "Up." I punched Schmidt in the face with each word, mad at the two for possibly breaking the thing that would get us to safety. When I was done hitting, the plane started its nose dive down into the Atlantic. I was, fortunately, able to get a good hold on the control panel, making it so I didn't go flying, unlike the two men who were flung to the ceiling.

I could hear the two dumbasses start their fight back up as I strapped myself into the pilot's seat, looking at the control panel and flicking some switches so that we were flying straight again instead of down.

"You could have the power of the gods!" Shmidt shouted as I heard a blaster be started up. "Yet you wear a flag on your chest and think you fight a battle of nations!" I heard the blast directed at Steve, but I also heard the grunt from Steve diving away, so I would assume he's ok.

"You could have all this power, and yet you choose to need the help of a pathetic little girl!" He directed the next shot at me, but thankfully missed.

I ended up turning around and shooting him in the leg with the gun that I always had in my holster.

"Call me pathetic again and I'll deal with you myself." I threatened. This gave me an amazing look of fear from the man, who then proceed to go back to talking to Steve.

"I have seen the future, Captain!" Another shot. "There are no flags!"

"Not my future!" Steve yelled back. I looked back when I heard his grunt and saw him grab his shield, flinging it to Schmidt who landed right on top of the glowing thing in the middle of the room.

A large bright wave of what almost appeared to be energy washed over the room before calming.

"What have you done?" Shmidt grunted, standing back up and grabbing the glowing cube. "No!"

We all stared at the cube as it started glowing brighter, the supposed bolts of energy coming out again. An image of what almost looked like space appeared above Schmidt, leaving me in an amazing state of confusion. I looked back to Schmidt just in time to see him encased in the glow from the cube, screaming in anguish as it happened.
