time passed and finally techno was done cleaning up, definitely took more than 30 minutes.
but once he texted me and said he was ready i went into the twins room
"fucking finally holy shit" the brunette immediately stood up and came my direction
i somewhat ignored him and looked for karl, who was sitting in the corner of the room criss cross with his hands in his lap as if he was meditating
"it's been almost 2 days what the hell" george was angry with me
"sorry got arrested but uh you guys wanna go for a walk outside?" george looked stunned at the fact that i got arrested but it was a common thing so he had nothing to worry about
"sure" george shrugged and karl got up from the corner
they followed me through the main rooms and caught the glances of niki and zak who where sitting at the coffee table talking
"wait george?" niki stood up and stopped us before we left the base
"oh my god niki? what are you doing here?" they hugged
niki and george hugged
"uh clay can i talk to you please" niki pulled me aside
"what the hell are george and karl doing here" she seemed aggravated for some reason
"we took out their father and uncle and they knew to much to be let go but they're innocent" i shushed myself because i didn't want the boys hearing me
"your kidding me, george and karl where my childhood friends before they moved here" she looked over my shoulder and saw the boys facing our direction
"fucking hell" i rubbed my temples and adjusted my posture
"don't tell me they knew wilbur and phil too" i looked down at the small women
"he was best friends with wilbur but phil was never around enough to meet him." she looked back at me
"okay, wilbur can't know about this yet. you know he will go crazy" i said slowly
"i agree, don't tell phil about us knowing them either, he won't train them as hard and they won't be the best they can" she assured me
"laura was good friends with them too, although i don't know if she'll remember them" she smiled warmly with nervousness lacing her words.
"okay, i have to go technos waiting for us" my words where quick as i slipped my phone back into my pocket
"technos helping you?" she seemed surprised
"he needed to blow of steam and this helps him run a bit" i nodded and began to walk away
"be carful and don't kill them" she said louder and jokingly but the twins didn't know that
