My knock rung through the room, it not being very loud but who ever was in the room had to have heard it.

soon the door opened with daryl on the other side.

"i'm taking george and lily shopping, does charlie wanna go?" i asked while i looked at the distorted man.

just 15 minutes ago he was already ready for the day but as i see him now, he looked as if he had just ran a marathon.

"you can ask him, i'm sure he would want to. he's with noah right now, i think they're in the kitchen" he said slightly out of breath but was hiding it very well.

"okay, text me when the brit's get close, i want to be here before them" i smiled with a smirk that showed i know what you did look and his face dropped, going slightly red

"i will" he huffed and shut the door

"damn" i mumbled to myself and laughed a bit as i walked towards the kitchen

i was met with george, noah, and charlie all around the island, talking about nonsense.

"no because they never caught the killer" george's voice sounded surprised but his eyes showed happiness

"i was literally right next to him, he killed her" noah just stood up and sighed in george's resistance

both their gazes met mine and i must have looked confused because they both had a questioning look on their face

"who are we talking about" i reached for an orange on the fruit rack.

"tell him You did it" noah sighed and approached the fridge

"dude what did i do" i laughed a bit as i tore the orange apart.

charlie and lily sat silently at the island as i argued with noah

"did you kill the last president" george voice stopped me in my tracks

i slowly turned around to meet his gaze

"this is what you guys where arguing about" i laughed nervously and looked at noah questionably

"yes because he was on his phone and he brought up the last president because of some news article and jokingly i went 'oh yeah clay killed her' and now he doesn't believe me" noah started quickly before george could.

"this is the dumbest topic ever" i tried avoiding this topic because although it was true, i did kill her, it's almost a sensitive topic because that's one of the most high threat level kills iv ever made and one word slips about it in public and i'm gone.

"did you" lily looked at me with a proud face on

i smirked slightly and didn't answer, although it was that smirk that said yes without actually saying yes.

"DAMN" she loudly stated, obviously shocked
