I had kept speaking and laughing with Bruno that night, just talking about the most random things. occasionally reyna or George would join in on the conversation but they where really bonding, I mean it genuinely looked like George was her friend.

The time was now 8pm, I can see people where starting to get tipsy, or the poison was taking effect. if im right, ranboo, karl, minx, and noah have been talking to everyone, somehow slipping something into their drinks before they noticed.

The type of poison they where using didn't kill them, it didn't even make them pass out, it simply made them feel like they where drunk, where they cant see straight, where their head spins and it feels like the ground is falling from under you.

and that's what I started to see in people, they where stumbling, blinking a lot more, and their collars looked uncomfortable which comes with the fever of poison.

"hey guys!" nick approached me and Bruno rather quickly, practically crashing into me. he threw his arms over my shoulders and looked at Bruno over my shoulder like they had known each other for a life time.

"how much did you drink" I turned around, throwing his arms off me, of course I knew he was joking, well acting I should say. He was playing drunk to get closer with people, whether it was falling into someone or giving them a drink, that was his role in this whole thing.

as I have said before, there are other assassin groups at this meet, they are all here for reyna. but what I wasn't sure of, how many people where here protecting her.

"one glass" nick backed away and crossed his arms, pouting like a child.

"bullshit" I shook my head and searched for a waiter, waving one over, I snatched a bottle of water from him.

"well who is thiss~" nick slurred, trying to get past me and to Bruno.

I turned around and saw Bruno just laughing, he seemed amused.

"I-" I turned around to face nick again who was now standing there, holding eye contact with Bruno.

"I am so sorry about this" I turned back to Bruno and held nicks shoulders at my side, but Bruno didn't seem to care at all.

"no dont be, its actually amusing if you think" the curly haired man crossed his arms, just smiling at nick

"sapnap, meet Bruno. Bruno meet sapnap, my friend" nick was starting to lose his balance and he fell into me, so I held his shoulders and picked him back up off my body.

"its nice to meet you sapnap" Bruno went out for a handshake and nick gladly accepted, holding his hand only a second longer than he should have.

"what time is it" nick said his sentence, almost perfectly, although he extended the i in time.

"i believe eight twenty-four" Bruno looked at his watch and smiled at nick, then back up to me with a giggle in his eyes.

sapnap giggled and stumbled over his own feet, somehow, even though he wasn't walking.

"okay" i turned around and searched for some sort of seat, and to my luck the very large stone pillar behind me had a flat edge nick could sit on.

"sit down and drink the water" i pushed nick away and he complied, taking the water from my hand. He didn't seem all that into my idea but he went with it anyway.

i turned back to Bruno and it just looked like he was holding back laughter again.

"im sorry" i scratched my neck and laughed, seeing ranboo in the distance, speaking with a women, a smile on their face.
