Chapter 5: Forced Family Feud

"Camila?" Alfonse approached his summoner, who had a horrified expression on her face. "Is something the matter?"

"Our mission for next month will not be as... average as the other..." Camila said, stopping herself from shaking. "Our next mission... is... something related to Ashe's family..."

"Lord Lonato...?" Sothis mused.

"Yeah..." The brown haired girl nodded. "I heard Beles knows Lord Lonato... so it will be very hard for her..."

"Wait..." Alfonse slowly raised his hands. "In Askr, none of the Professors know about Lord Lonato until they were given the mission to stop him..."

"Perhaps this world is different."

Garland Moon was the month in which aspiring students would give it their all for the entire year, however, the mission to stop Lord Lonato's rebellion put everyone on edge... the Blue Lions had it worst.

Ingrid, Felix, Sylvain, Mercedes and Annette were at the Blue Lion classroom, discussing about the mission.

"It seems that the Knights of Seiros will be accompanying us on the mission." Felix said. "Hopefully things will go peaceful... Tsk. How disappointing."

"Felix, our mission is not to battle." Ingrid sighed.

"I am really hoping no one gets hurt..." Sylvain sighed.

"I wonder if he is there..." Annette started muttering to herself when she got looks from the others. "Sorry! I was lost in thought!"

"Though..." Mercedes looked down. "I'm worried about Ashe..."

"The kid hasn't been himself lately..." Sylvain sighed.

"He was at the cathedral today again." Felix shook his head. "He must have not taken the mission very well."

"I think Professor Beles is checking on him." Annette added. "She is very worried."

Meanwhille at the Cathedral, Beles went to check on Ashe, who was praying. She slowly approached him.

"Ashe?" She asked.

The silver haired boy turned around and hugged his professor/childhood friend.

"Please, Bell!" He said, trying not to cry. "This has to be a mistake! It has to be..."

Beles hugged him back and pet his hair.

"Lonato would NEVER do such a thing!" The young blue lion student shook his head as he let go of the teal haired woman. "At least... he never told me..."

"Don't worry, Ashe." The kind hearted professor reassured her concerned student. "We'll make sure Lonato will understand."

Ashe smiled as he heard his Professor's words.

"Thank you, Bell." He said.

Meanwhille, Byleth was training his sword swings at the Training Grounds when he heard footsteps approaching him.

"So you must be one of the new Professors Lady Rhea talked about the previous day?" A blond haired woman approached him. "Nice to meet you. Name's Catherine."

"Byleth." The professor just added.

"I came here to tell you that I will be accompanying you and the students to your mission." Catherine explained. "We'll both do our best to make sure no one is harmed."

"Of course." The teal haired man nodded.

At night, Alfonse had trouble sleeping. He sighed as he struggled to stay asleep.
