Before the battle of Shamballa, everyone had to make preparations for the upcoming battle.

Byleth approached Beles in her old room. She was cleaning her old stuff that she forgot to pack before she went to Fhirdiad.

"Hey, Sister." He said. "Sorry for interrupting."

"It's alright. I just finished." Beles smiled. "Did you need something, Brother?"

"Here... I want you to have this..." Byleth extended Beles' hand and gave her a silver ring with purple and orange gems in the center.

"That's Father's ring... why are you giving it to me?"

"Because... you are more worthy of having it than I am." Byleth turned to leave. "Promise me that you'll keep Father's words to give the ring to someone you love... as well as he loved our Mother..."

"Byleth... what about you?" Beles said. "Don't you have someone you love too?"

Silence occurred as Byleth stopped his steps. Realization came to him when he had kissed Edelgard in the Hevring estate. Was it love? Or a dedication of protection?

"We'll have to wait and see." Byleth whispered as he left Beles' room.

"Someone I love..." Beles thought to herself. "Once this war is over, I will give it to Ashe... He is my childhood friend... and my sweetheart."

All Hapi thought of is when the war is going to end. She could not sigh because if she did, Monsters would appear. She didn't want to fall asleep in an important meeting either... like what happened at the recent meeting. Who knew she would be shocked by everything that Rhea said?

"Hapi!" Constance shouted as she approached her friend. "There you are! I have been looking all over for you!"

"Coco?" Hapi tilted her head. "What happened?"

"I was searching for you to ask if you wanted to have a cup of tea!" Constance said.

"You want to have tea with me?" Hapi asked before shrugging. "Sure... why not?"

Later in their shared room with Rene, Constance served a cup of rainbow tea to herself and Hapi. She even put a bag of sweets at the center of their night table.

"Why the sudden invitation to tea, Constance?" Hapi asked.

"You know that I want to restore House Nuvelle to its former glory, right?" Constance started her monologue. "Well, I have had a hard time thinking of ways of letting the people learn the name of Nuvelle and restoring my house because this war has been too short! And not only that, Once the war is over, I will have no way of showing my house's legacy! How will I demonstrate that my noble cause will not be all for nothing?!"

"Do you want my help?" Hapi asked.

"Dearest Hapi, are you certain?!" Constance gasped. "If you do assist me, you will have no future to look up to! And not only that, you will not have the chance to figure out the cure of the curse they implanted on your Crest!"

"This is what I want, Coco." Hapi stated. "I want to stay by my side... as for my crest, Linny, Lys and Monocle (Hanneman) will figure out a medicine that cures my curse. So yes, I want to help you restore the name Nuvelle."

Tears streamed down Constance's eyes as she heard her friend's words.

"Hapi... you fill my heart with pride and joy!" She tried not to cry. "No one has willingly been an assistant to my goal...!"
