Part 2: Chapter 99

We are headed to a field to test our physical abilities using some of weapons. Sa round na ito, ipapakitang gilas namin ang aming abilidad sa aming paggamit ng mga sandatang napili namin. I could choose the bow and arrow pero meron pa kaming susunod sa round kung saan magha-hunt kami ng mga hayop sa isang gubat at may mga puntos ang bawat hayop na mapapana namin o mapapatay.

Set up lang naman ang gubat na iyon, artificial kumbaga. Dito lang din malapit sa field kung saan iyon, ayon sa instructions, someone will build an entire forest and put an artificial animals. And they will watch us. Mataas kasi ang stadium kung saan nakaupo ang audience at ang royalties and other officials.

Well, focus muna tayo sa round na ito. I'll use a sword this time, and also people expect me to use this weapon. Dahil nga anak ako ng isang duke na gumagamit ng isang espada. At expected nila na gagamit ako nito, then let's please them.

Hindi rin naman ako masyadong bihasa s apaggmit at pag-swing ng isnag espada, just the basics. Because I'm much more expert in archery since it's my comfort weapon. But I can sya na may ibubuga rin naman ako.

"The two participants will showcase their abilities in using weapons they will choose their own weapons in this round. And of course, someone who's expert when it comes to weapons will be their opponent and they need to defeat him to add 100 points. This point will determine the winner with their result later on," he explains. I sighed; I kinda feel nervous tho.

I should show them that I am somewhat weak, so they don't expect too much from me. I would like to surprise them later. Or so I thought.

"I would like to introduce to you all, Prince Izaak Carlos Brook Faeroe." Izaak then made his way in the middle, walking like a real royalty prince.

Lots of women from the audience drool over him. It's shocking that he's participating in this kind of event, what's with him?

He look dashing, yes, but still he's ugly. He's actually wearing an armor from the Knight's Royalty.

"Good day, people of Faeroe!" his voice is deep and serious as he also looked around. People quiet down.

Pasimple akong tumingin kay Izabel na suot ang isang green dress corset na sinuotan niya ng isang itim na stockings. While here I am, wearing a lousy blue retro steampunk dress with corset on the outside.

Okay, there's clearly something wrong here. The Queen Consort is in charge of our wardrobe, since she insisted it. She really has favoritism, huh?

Napairap ako ro'n. Halata rin namang nagwa-gwapuhan siya kay Izaak. Bagay silang dalawa, sana kay Izaak na lang siya ulit naki-epal, pero may lahing aso ata ito dahil kung nasaan ako, nandoon din si Izabel. Ayaw ako tantanan.

"We are all gather here to witness and test the abilities of these two beautiful ladies. I, solemly swear, that I'll have a fair judgment and be equal as their opponent. And I would like to say to our reginas," Izaak both looked at us and he really looks serious.

"I will not go easy on you, so don't go easy on me too. We are here as an enemies to each other. Good luck," he bid and descended from the small stadium.

Para namang I will go easy on him, kahit saksakin ko pa siya nang todo, okay lang eh kaso madi-disqualify naman ako at pwede pa akong makulong kahit na sabihin ko pang aksidente lang iyon.

Well, wala namang masama kung susugatan ko siya kahit papaano. Nilibot ko ang paningin ko at mukha namang walang mage ang nandito, mukhang umalis na rin sila kanina nang mag-initiation rites. Pasimple kong binulsa ang bracelet na suot ko at nakaramdam ako ang kaunting kiliti na dumaloy sa aking katawan.

Huminga ako nang malalim para makontrol ko ang porsyentong gagamitin ko lang. Nilibot ko ang aking paningin at mukha namang walang nakapansin.

Pero nakita ko si Luci na nakakunot ang noo at tila may pinapakiramdam sa kaniyang paligid. Kaagad akong umiwas ng tingin at tinignan pa nag paligid ngunit wala naman na akong napansin na kakaiba bukod kay Luci.
