Part 2: Chapter 111

Just like what I said, after 24 hours. Jakob sent me a letter saying we could go to the town called Crestone.

Sa pagkakaalala ko, doon din nagpunta ang mahal na prinsipe, na mahal ko rin, joke!

Napailing na lang ako sa sarili ko. Well, ilang araw na rin simula noong huli kaming nagkita, at sa pagkakaalam ko, base na rin kay Jakob. Maliit lamang na lugar iyon, kaya't mataas ang tsansa na magkita kaming dalawa roon.

Wala rin namang masama kung bibisitahin ko siya roon. At saka, kailangan ko ring pumunta nang personal doon dahil ako ang bubusisi sa mga tela na bibilhin namin at gagamitin.

I will not interfere with his work, of course. At saka kung sakali lang naman, dahil pareho kaming busy sa mga ginagawa namin.

"My lady. I already packed all the things that you need and the carriage is ready to leave," Aziz told me. Tinignan ko ang sarili ko sa salamin sa huling pagkakataon bago tumayo.

"Tell Jakob, he'll ride with me in the carriage," sabi ko rito bago lumabas ng kwarto.

"Yes, my lady."

Habang naglalakad sa hallway palabas ng palasyo ay nakarinig ako ng dalawang boses na nag-uusap.

"Have you heard it?"

"Yeah. Someone told me that it's been three days since Lady Izabel keep on losing some of her jewelries." I halt to listen to their conversation.

Nanakawan siya?

"Really? Maybe she just misplaced it." Sumilip ako nang bahagya upang tignan sila at sakto kong nakita ang pag-iling ng isa sa mga maid na nag-uusap.

"No. Because one of the maid who's serving her said that she locked her drawer after knowing that she's been robbed. But the jewelry is stolen the next day they checked it."

That's interesting. I wonder who and why.

"Oh my...have they caught the robber?"

"Unfortunately, no. That's why I've been keeping my money beside me even though I am sleeping.Who knows? They already targeted the lady and they could also target us."

Umalis na ako matapos marinig iyon. Nilingon ko si Aziz na nasa tabi ko at sinabihan ito.

"Tell to others to distant themselves from Izabel's maid or any person related or connecter to her. We don't know if that's true or they just plotted that." Tumango si Aziz sa akin at yumuko.

Mahirap na rin kung pati kami madadamay sa kamalasan niya sa buhay. I may sound harsh but try to look at what I've been through. I might say that she deserves it, afterall, hindi pa iyan ang karma niya na manggagaling sa akin.

I want her to beg. I want her to suffer as much as I did. I want her to feel my pain, the miserable fate that happened to me.

Bagay lang iyan, napapalitan. Pero ang nangyari sa akin ay kailanman ay hindi matutumbasan ng kahit anong bagay, kahit paghingi pa iyan ng tawad.

I want them to cry until blood is dripping down from their eyes.

"My lady, are you alright?" I came back to my reverie when Jakob snapped his fingers infront of me.

"Jakob," I called his name.

"The carriage is ready to leave. Are you too?" tanong niya sabay lahad ng kaniyang palad. Ngumiti ako at tinanggap iyon.

While on the road, Jakob is telling me things about the Crestone Town. It's a small town, near the border of West Faeroe Barrio. Kahit maliit na town lang sila ay naging kilala pa rin sila sa ibang parte ng Faeroe dahil sa mga masasagana nilang prutas, lalo na ang strawberry, mas kilala sila roon.
