"I'm so disappointed that this thing escalated, especially you, Lady Lacy," the King remarks. "You are a noble lady and yet this is how you behave. What will the others say? Is this how a future Queen should behave?"

Nakatayo kaming dalawa ni Izabel sa gitna at ang parliament ay nasa magkabilang gilid at ang iba pang officials. Habang ang hari at ang reyna ay nasa gitnang harapan.

"I apologize for my unpleasant behavior, Your Majesty. My feelings got the best out of me and got blinded by anger--"

"Having said that, shows you are not suitable for the position you're aiming. If I were the assembly, I'll revoke you," the Queen Maddyson commented cutting her off.

But the King shushed her and heavily sighed. "Even if I want to solve this problem, myself, the parliament and the assembly has the final say with their unanimous votes."

"Revoking young lady Marquez's chance to compete is too much over something little like this."

"Her maid stole Lady Izabel's jewelries and she even hurt two innocent people, threatened them! Because it shows to me that she's trying to cover her maid's scheme!"

"She's trying to protect her people! You just jumped in conclusion!"

"The jewelries are found in her maid's room! It's already proven!"

Pinikit ko nang mariin ang mata ko dahil sa patuloy nilang pagtatalo. I admit, I was in the wrong here, but I just can't watch Aziz being beaten to death over something she didn't do. I know her so well, plus, why would she steal when she has a lot of money? Malaki ang sweldo na natatanggap niya sa amin.

Pwede na nga siyang umalis sa bahay at mamuhay nang naaayon sa gusto niya at hanggang kamatayan niya, pwede na siyang hindi magtrabaho. Ever since I was a little, Aziz didn't do anything to break my trust, not even this thing, stealing.

"This is all your fault, Marquez. If only you just let us punish your little maid, we're not going to be in this situation," sabi ni Izabel na nasa tabi ko.

"You beat her to death. Should I just stand there and watch? I refuse to believe on such lies you're all putting on her name. I know you set her up to get back at me" I heard her chuckles.

"Yeah, yeah, believe on what you wanted to believe. But you shouldn't accuse us on something we didn't do," prangkang sarkastiko niyang ani.

"Too bad, because of what you did, your maid will have to shoulder everything," dagdag niya pa.

"Your majesty, the parliament and the assembly have the final and unanimous decision." Both of the representative of two different party is in the center.

"Instead of revoking Lady Lacy's chance to the throne. We all agreed with the decision that Lady Izabel will automatically win this upcoming competition. Therefore, both parties will be tied and will going to compete on the last match."

"I accept your decision. Thank you," sabi ng hari at saka humarap sa akin. "What can you say about it, Lady Lacy?"

Inikot ko ang tingin ko sa kanilang lahat bago yumuko at nagpasalamat, kahit wala naman na akong dahilan para maging grateful sa naging desisyon nila.

"Then it seems like we all agree and therefore, I can end this meeting. Is there anything that you all wanted to say? Before we end."

"I have, your majesty," biglang singit ni Brandon. Tumaas ang kilay ko rito. Tuwing nakikita ko siya, tumataas ang balahibo't dugo ko sa katawan.

"I want to get justice for my daughter. She was robbbed and yet, someone is still accussing her. Instead of letting the palace handle this matter, I would like our family to handle this private matter." What?
