The next day, Aziz keeps on squinting her eyes on her for the whole day. My whole body is sore, especially down there, but Aziz gave me a supplement to ease the pain I'm feeling.
She was disturbed by a slammed sound of the door.
"It's not funny, my lady," she said in her serious tone. She knows. I know she knows what happened here, specifically, earlier at midnight.
"I'm not a kid anymore, Aziz. I know what I am doing, 'kay? Look, I'm competing to be the queen of this country and if I win, I might get married soon," sabi ko rito.
"Are you crying?" I teases.
"I'm not, my l-lady," may pagkagaragal na boses niyang saad.
I laughed and cupped her face to look at me. "I'm okay, Aziz. I'll be in good hands. His highness, the crown prince— is good, kind, and taking care of me. He also loves me, so...there's nothing to worry about," pag-aassure ko rito at niyakap ang beywang niya.
"I watched you grew, held you in my arms when you were a baby, and be with you through your ups and down. I'm worried because the outside world is too cruel for you." Aziz looked at her with unexplainable emotion in its eyes.
"You know, I had dream, a bad dream."
"Hmm? What is that?" Lacy asked.
She held Lacy's hand as if it's a fragile item, a delicate item that needs to be taken care of.
"I dreamt of you. Like hmm... 15 year old Lacy. You were just a kid back then, a teen, full of hope, cherishable, lovable, and a pretty lady," she starts.
But she didn't talk nor mutter anything and let herself listen first.
"Everything is going well, even though the duke was kind of mean to you," she chuckled and remember what her dream was.
"And then someone entered your life, a boy, probably same age as you, a 15 or 16 year old boy. At first, he makes you happy. I could see how he takes care of you and how he put smile on your face. I watched you fell in love and that's the first time I could tell that you have this genuine smile plastered on your face..."
"Did you...see the face of that boy?" I asked.
"Hmm... I can't remember his face. I only know that he also lives in the palace, based on his garments. And I only know some of the people because of their familiar clothing," paliwanag niya.
