Ittetsus alarm had gone off fifteen minutes before twelve. Keishin, who was on the other side of the gym, quickly made his way over to him. "Did you want me drive him over?" he spoke in a hushed tone, hoping no nosy teammates could hear. "Oh no it's okay, I can do it."
"Are you sure? Because I don't mind," Tobio walks past them and out the door. Going to be late is written down. "Are you just asking because you want a slushy on the way back?" he said in a slightly teasing tone. Ukai's out the door so he didn't have to answer.
Tobio runs back in moments later, handing Takeda's phone back then walking back out.
"Well, hello again, what can I help you with now?" The front desk lady says, instantly recognizing the two. "Kageyama is supposed to have a therapy appointment at twelve."
"Oh yes right, Dr Nakamura will see you in a moment," he thanks her and sits down.
"So how long do these appointments usually take?" An hour. "And I don't need to sit here and wait the whole time, right?" No, you can go back to work.
Keishin stands up, out of respect, when he sees a doctor approaching. "Hello, I'm Dr Nakamura, are you the boy's caregiver?"
"Yes," Ukai said, without hesitation. "Always good to know is all. Well let's get to it then, shall we?"
Kageyama gives him one last look before disappearing off into one of the many rooms they have.
