Therapy had drawled on for another forty five minutes, an hour in total, and when he walked out, coach Ukai was sitting there, waiting for him, sipping on a slushy while holding another one.
"Hey, how'd it go?" Tobio walks past him and out the doors, as if ignoring him. "Thanks for your time doctor," he says before going after him.
"Oi! Hey what's wrong?" He says to a scowling Tobio, waiting at the car. Nothing, he writes down.
"No, come on, tell me what's wrong. I can't help you if you don't tell me," Kageyama kicks the car tire instead. "Hey! Don't take your anger out on my car," he chastised.
He's just super annoying especially with that condescending tone of his. "See? That's all you had to say now isn't it? Here, I got you a slushy, wasn't sure which one you liked so I just got you the same as me," Tobio curls up into the car seat, sipping on his drink.
"You know, if you ever wanted or needed to talk about anything-or rather write about anything-we're not gonna judge you right?" He sees him nod out of the corner of his eyes.
"And it's better to let it out then keep it in and let it rot and fester anyway," Tobio nods again.
But that's the thing, he's just so goddamn scared.
He's tried several times, but whenever he did, his hands would get sweaty and shaky and the words would get caught in his throat.
