The next morning, Takeda had woken up before Ukai. He got dressed then made them both breakfast, getting the headache pills ready for him.
And while he was in the middle of cooking the eggs, Ukai had woken up and hugged him from behind, groaning into his hair.
"How'd you sleep?" Takeda asks, like he does every morning. "It was okay," he says. But Takeda knows he's lying. They both know he's lying.
"It actually was a little okay this time," Takeda smiles at that, then smiles again when he kisses the top of his head.
"I won't be coming to practice today," Ukai says after a sip of orange juice. "You going to see Kageyama?" Ukai nods. "Okay, what should I tell everyone then?"
Keishin sighs, rests his head on one of his hands, massaging his temple. He groans out, a fist thumping against the table. "Um I don't know, just-just give me a second,"
Ittetsu notices the way he shakily cuts the bacon and eggs in half. "Just tell them the truth . Tell them that he's alive but wont be able to see him until he gets out due to his fragile state. Except the third years, I think they'd be alright to see him, right?"
Takeda nods. "Yeah, I'll tell them that. And tell them not to get their hopes up. He's alive, but we're not sure how fine he is," Ukai says after a bite of his toast.
Breakfast had finished and Keishin was washing up the dishes.
"I got your clothes sorted out for you," Ukai looks confused. "What do you mean by that?" Takeda reaches up to give him a kiss. A proper one.
They had only started dating a short while ago, and have never really kissed each other until. It had only ever been on foreheads, hands, shoulders, temples ect.
Only sometimes did they do proper kisses, mainly because she's they felt embarrassed.
"Oh well, I figured you should wear something nice and formal. To look proper, since it's a hospital,"
"Oh thanks," he says, walking off into the bedroom they shared, finding a pair of jeans and a white collared shirt laid neatly on the bed.
He quickly puts the jeans on with his shirt, followed by a pair of socks then rolling up the sleeves, putting on some deodorant before giving a look at himself in the mirror. He found that he looked really nice.
He put on the headband that keep his hair out of his face before walking back out to find Ittetsu scrolling on his phone.
"Wow, you look really nice," Keishin looks down, blushing slightly with his hands in his pockets.
"No you do. You look great," he compliments, looking up at him, hands resting firmly on his shoulders
