Ittetsu knocks on the door softly before entering. Sitting in the middle of the bed is Keishin, with his head buried in a pillow. "You okay?" Is the first thing he asks. Ukai nods. Takeda frowns.
"What's wrong?" He says, sitting next to him, a hand on his back. "Keishin look at me." He shakes his head again. "Keishin, I need you to look at me," his voice is soft and soothing.
Ukai lifts his head to look at him. His eyes are shining, but why? Why does he have to feel like this?
"What's wrong?" Ittetsu repeats, using one hand to cup his face. He shrugs, looking up at the ceiling, trying to avoid eye contact in order to feel less vulnerable.
Takeda makes him look at him. "What wrong?" He says for the third time, a little firmer. "I don't know. It's just-a lot. So many things and so there's little time." He starts subconsciously bouncing his knee.
"And that's okay." Takeda reassures. "Everything will work out. I promise, okay? Everything will be fine."
He takes the pillow off him and moves to sit in his lap, firmly wrapping his hands around him. "Keishin its okay." He whispers, while Ukai has his head in the crook of his neck.
God he just hopes that Tobio doesn't walk in at this moment. He'd probably think of him as less than.
Keishin squeezes his eyes shut, and starts copying Ittetsus breathing patterns, trying to calm himself. "This is why I bought you the notebook. It's a good and healthy way to let out your feelings."
A minute goes by when he opens his eyes. Resting his chin on Takedas shoulder. "He would understand." He says, confusing him. "Tobio. I know what you were thinking. He wouldn't think less of you if he walked in, he'd understand."
Ukai lifts his head up to look at him. Takeda leans forward and kisses him, it's soft and gentle, calm, it calms him down a little more.
A knock comes from the door. Keishin pulls apart and sits next to him, although he doesn't leave any space between them. "Yeah?" The door opens, Kageyama walks in, looking anxious.
Can you drive me somewhere? "Oh yeah sure. Where are we going?" Its not too far from here, I need to check something out is all. He explains vaguely.
"Yeah we can do that." Keishin gets up and leaves the room, ruffling Tobios hair on the way out, who looks at his coach with slight concern. Is coach okay?
Takeda gives him a smile. "Yeah, he's fine. It's just anxiety." He answers, getting up. "It's just gotten a little worse since you went missing is all. He'll be fine, don't worry about it."
