It's dark. Very dark. But why is it dark? Wasn't Tobio playing uno with his nuisances moments ago when the lights were so clearly on?
He can't see anything. But he can feel. And hear.
It's silent, and not in the good way, just in the eery way. He should be able to hear something, whether that's birds chirping, cars driving, or whatever else.
He can also touch and feel. He feels the something heavy and metal clasped around his wrist. He tries freeing himself. It fails.
Kageyama can smell. The area around him smells almost rotten and damp.
His throat starts to tighten.
There it is. He hears it. That god awful strange clicking noise, it's hard not to recognise it.
The only safety he has around here is the rock he'a chained to. At least he has comfort in that, comfort in curling up in himself and resting against that stupid rock.
His eyes squeeze shut as he feels IT staring at him. He knows it is. Tobio can feel it inches from his face.
Tears start welling up in his eyes. Why is he here? Why did he deserve this?
He can't help but let out a small whimper as it touches him ever so gently on his cheek. Why is he not at home safe in his bed?
The clicking starts up again. His jaw squeezes shut. It walks away. Kageyama doesn't here it walk away, but he knows it does.
He can't help but but sob into himself, not sure out of relief that It's gone or because he's scared-probably both.
Now he's seeing blinding light and blurriness. What's happening? Adjusting to said light, however, he realises that he is in fact home.
"Kageyama?" Hinata asks, sounding nervous and unsure.
"You okay?" Yamaguchi questions, trying to make his voice sound soft.
Tobio nods, although they know that he's not, and gets up. He writes down a 'I'll be back' and walks off.
Once, shakily finding Takedas and Ukai's bedroom, he gives a gentle knock. A 'yeah?' can be heard back as an answer.
Kageyama opens the door, closing it behind him and walks over to the two. "Everything alright?" Takeda asks.
Tobio shrugs and immediately hugs him, burying his head in the crook of Ittetsus shoulder.
"You wanna talk about it?" Ukai suggests. Kageyama shakes his head, using his hands to tap firmly at the teacher, trying to ground himself and to confirm to himself that he is no longer dreaming and that this is all real.
Once he's calmed down he lets go of Takeda and walks back out, sitting down in an armchair.
The three know better than to say anything, since he hasn't spoken up about it, yet they probably should.
"You wanna watch a movie?" Yamaguchi asks, remote already in hand. Tobio nods.
