After waving goodbye to Ittetsu, Tobio knocks on the door, where they're immediately greeted by Yusuke, who's smiling at them.
His eyes flicker to the band aid, but he doesn't ask until they're sitting in the lounge room.
"What with the band aid?"
"He says it was from the cat, but I don't believe him." Kyoutani answers.
"What does that mean?" He turns to look at Kageyama, who's busy drawing, sticking it up on Takinoue cork-board ten minutes later.
Kyoutani looks at it, intrigued and slightly horrified. "What happened?" Takinoue asks. Tobio points to his face, 'I had a dream she scratched me, woke up with this' he peels it off, showing the red scratch.
Takinoue winces, Kyoutani scrunches up his face. "Do you think she has something to do with the creature?" Kageyama nods.
"Creature?" Kentaro questions, looking back at the board. Tobio leans against his friend, knowing Takinoue is going to explain everything for him.
"Do basically..." By the time he's finished, kentaronis left feeling shocked, confused and slightly scared for his new friend.
"Is that why you were so freaked out by the creek?" He whispers, Tobio nods slowly.
"So is this all you came here for? Not because you genuinely wanted to spend time with your favourite uncle?" He teases. Kageyama just shrugs. "Gee thanks." He says sarcastically.
"Is there anything else you can remember? I know it's hard but the simplest thing could help, you know?"
'No but i gun could be helpful' he writes with a serious face. Clearly, Yusuke is taken aback, which makes Tobio smile.
"Okay, well I can't give you a gun, as much as it would probably make you feel safer," Kageyama rolls his eyes, "so, is there anything specific you remember?"
He closes his eyes. Someone's alarm goes off, making him jump and open his eyes. "Practice alarm?" Takinoue asks, he nods slowly and gets up.
"Now hang on, I'm sure Keishin won't mind if your a couple minutes late." Yusuke says with a smile. "Sit back down, this is more important anyway." Tobio looks between the two before sitting back down and resuming position.
"Is there anything else you can think of?" Kageyama sighs and tilts his head up. He closes his eyes again, wanting to think.
"Noise." He says quietly, "It doesn't like noise."
"That's...helpful. I don't know how we are going to use it though."
"I have an idea, it's not good, but it's an idea." Kentaro speaks up.
"Drive us somewhere?" He asks Takinoue, "what? Where?"
"To a store, where else?" He says sarcastically, rolling his and getting up. Tobio follows after him and soon enough they're sitting in the back seat of Yusukes car as he drives them into town.
He parks and they get it, Kyoutani leading the way, holding onto Tobio's hand so he doesn't accidentally lose him.
Kyoutani looks through the store, for what? Kageyama isn't sure, he's just enjoying the company.
"What about these, would these work?" He's holding up bells, of all sizes in a bag. He grabs some string too, then heads for the checkout.
Kyoutani stops at the little fridge filed with drinks, quickly grabbing an energy drink, "you want one?" He asks. Tobio shrugs. Kentaro takes a second one.
"So it turns out we are in big trouble." Takinoue sighs out as the boys hop back in the car. They glance at each other, "why?" Kyoutani asks.
"I just an earful from Keishin wondering where you've been," he points to Tobio, "he's not happy. Gotta drive you over to Karasuno, anywhere you wanna be dropped off Kyoutani?" He sighs loudly, "gotta go to practice too actually, Aoba johsai thanks."
As he entered the gym, he notices coach Ukai and immediately walks up to him. "Oh hello, nice of you to show up." He says sarcastically. 'Everything okay?' He mouths. Kageyama nods.
"Go get your clothes on then you can do laps for being late." He says loudly. He nods and walks off into the locker room, thankful that no one's in there, however he changes as quickly as possible, not wanting anyone to see.
Afraid of what they think. Afraid of what they'd say.
