-Kageyama goes swimming, ends with an anxiety attack
"Fuck me why are you here again?" Coach Ukai sighs out in that playful tone, letting them know that he's actually fine with it."Tobio!" He yells from the front door, Kageyama's there a few seconds later. It's the first years from Karasuno, dressed in swimming attire, Hinata has a set of goggles around his neck while Yachi has a pink frilly bikini top on with a pair of denim shorts.
Keishin's leaning against the door frame, "where are you headed off to again?" He asks suspiciously.
"Swimming." Hinata answers, almost squirming under his gaze. "Swimming?" He asks and Hinata nods.
Ukai looks over at Tobio, who seems to be contemplating on what to do.
Keishin slams the door shut on them. "You don't have to swim if you don't want to, you can go just to hang out if you want." He says in that oh so gentle voice that makes Tobio want to hug and cry into his shoulders until he's too exhausted to move.
He nods once, the door reopens and Ukai lets them in while Tobio's getting ready.
He comes back out wearing a regular shirt with the sleeves he usually wears to practice and a pair of board shorts, they look at him, slightly confused but don't say anything.
Keishin's busy getting snacks and food in the kitchen, "I doubt any of you packed actual lunches" he says, making them all food and putting them into containers, chucking them in the bag with Tobio's towel and clothes to wear after swimming, as well as his phone and little whiteboard.
"Have fun alright?" He tells Kageyama before leaving, giving him a tight hug. "And text if you need anything."
Kageyama's trailing behind them, or he would if it weren't for Yachi, trying to include him in their conversation.
They didn't walk over to the pool like Kageyama thought they were going to, instead they took a trek towards a creek.
He became rigid, heading toward a forest looming over him with dark twisted branches is the last thing he wanted or expected.
Kageyama didn't say anything. He kept on walking forward. Why would he ruin their fun like that? It's not their fault he's fucked up like this. It's not like they know the horrors he had to endure, so he stays silent.
Kageyama stays silent when they stop, creek in view and leave their bags on a rock near the waters edge, but not so close that everything would get wet.
Hinata enters first, taking his shirt off and jumping into the water with glee. "Come in its nice!" He encourages, gesturing with his hand.
Yamaguchi and Yachi follow after him, more timid then Hinata, relief crosses their faces when they realise that the water isn't cold and the bottom is sandy instead of leafy.
Tsukishima sits on a rock and watches from a distance. Tobio sits next to him. "Come on Kageyama, get in its nice!" Yamaguchi insists. Tobio shakes his head, letting his feet sit in the water.
The forest is watching him, or thats how it feels anyway. He watches back, scanning his surroundings.
The trees are swaying in the slight breeze, birds chirping happily, the sky is bright blue with a few white clouds in the sky. This forest isn't scary, it's peaceful, thats how he should feel about it anyway.
But he doesn't. Unspeakable horrors happen in the forest all the time, he's learned that the hard way. The forest is watching him and the trees and birds are communicating with each other. The insects have their beady little eyes glued to him, he knows that.
