"RAAA!!"
Riley yelled, wearing her Bingo character hoodie proudly. It was a bit large on her, which Night found adorable."Ah! You scared me!" Night said, feigning being frightened, hand to her chest.
Riley giggled, and Night grabbed her Chili hoodie, put it on, and chased after her daughter. "I'm gonna get you!" The mother called out.
"NO!" Riley yelled back.
"YUP!"
Riley hid in her play tent, sitting still. Night walked into the nursery, looking around. "I wonder where she went.." Night said. Of course she knew where her daughter was, but Riley didn't know that. Night looked under the crib. "Nope! Not here!"
Next, she peered into the toybox. "Huh..not here either! Well, I guess my daughter is missing! Oh well!" The mother said aloud, causing Riley to laugh."Hmmm...what is that I hear?" Night crouched next to the play tent, waiting to strike. She opened the 'door' smiling.
"Found you, you lil rascal!" Night grabbed the girl, pulling Riley into her lap.
"Oh no! Guess who else found you! It's..THE TICKLE MONSTER!"
Soon Night was mercilessly tickling her daughter, the little one howling with laughter."Are you excited to match mommy on Halloween?"
Riley nodded eagerly.
"You're gonna be the cutest witch in all of Gravesfield!"
Riley smiled at her mama, before babbling.
Night responded to those babbles as if she knew what they said.
"No way! Gasp! He said that?! Oh really?"
Night stopped before kissing her daughter's head. It was already the beginning of October, which meant it would be five months until it was Riley's second birthday. Of course the mother already has begun buying birthday presents in advance, one being a trike."Hey Riley! You wanna go pumpkin picking with mommy, abuela, and uncle Alex?"
"YEA!!"
"Alright! Pumpkin picking with my pumpkin it is!"~~~
Riley's outfit was a simple orange sweater with a black cat on the front and jeans, and a pair of sneakers. Night's outfit was identical to Riley's. Night realized something as soon as she picked up her toddler. This would be the little girl's first time pumpkin picking, as last fall she was only an infant.Night put the girl down in order to grab Riley's bag
"Are you excited to pick your first pumpkin, honey?"
"YEAH!"
"Alrighty!"
Riley was way too excited. The little girl toddled around in a circle, falling on her face. Night chuckled, scooping up Riley. "Let's go! Can't keep your uncle waiting!"
The young mother and daughter duo exited the house, ready for a day of fall festivities. Riley happily squealed in her car seat, as Night blasted the Bluey album for her on the way to the pumpkin patch
~~~
The cool air nipped at Riley's face as she sat in her stroller, but she didn't care. She was way more focused on the colorful autumn leaves falling down from above.
"You like the leaves, baby?" Night asked, watching as her daughter looked up in pure fascination.
Riley nodded, reaching out to grab one. The little girl ended up grabbing an orange leaf, and immediately began putting it in her mouth. Night chuckled and grabbed it before she could. "We don't eat them, baby bat. We could make something with the leaves though!"
Riley puffed out her cheeks and pouted. "Hey. None of that today, pumpkin! Todays gonna be fun!""Up!" Riley extended her arms outward. Night took the toddler out of the stroller and settled on a bench.
"My spooky spooky baby. And I can't believe daddy claimed you'd be a Christmas loving baby. He's silly, isn't he?"Riley laughed.
"Pooty!"
"Are you trying to say 'spooky', Ri?" Night asked, and the little girl nodded eagerly. Night kissed her head.
"That's my girl!"
Riley placed her head on Night's chest, listening to the rhythm of her mommy's heartbeat. Just then, a familiar car pulled up. Alex hopped out, bending down to Riley's level
