Cyrus thought his mama was just bluffing when she said eight was his bedtime. Audrey had come over to help out, as per usual.
Cyrus was on the couch drawing when his mother pulled down his sketchbook. "Do you know what time it is?" She asked in a soft tone, attempting to be as gentle as she could.
Cyrus glanced at the clock. It read eight o'clock, directly on the dot. Cyrus groaned. But he didn't budge. Night smirked. "If you don't get up in three seconds, I'll carry you.""You wouldn't dare." He said.
Night scooped him up, holding him close to her chest. "Don't underestimate me." She whispered in his ear. Night walked into his room, tucking him underneath the covers. "Goodnight, my trouble maker." She whispered, kissing him on the head.
"I'll be back to check in on you in an hour." Were the last things he heard before the door shut.Cyrus buried his head into his pillow. His parents weren't holding back anymore.
Sunny looked at his wife when she entered the master bedroom, a sleeping Riley and Seren on his chest. Night laid down and took Riley from him. The toddler shifted in her sleep, before relaxing again. Seren had drool on his lip, and Sunny wiped it away.
"I just put Cyrus to bed." She whispered
"How'd that'd go?" He responded.
"I had to carry him."
Sunny laughed.Night punched his arm. "Hunter went to bed at seven due to severe stress. It works on him, so I'm hoping it works on Cyrus."
"Let's hope so."
