Daybreak

Night has been acting weird lately. Normally she would be directly at Sunny's side, as the two had become close and attached at the hip in the past two years. The 18-year-old wanted to investigate and make sure his best friend was OK and unharmed. Sunny explored the Mega Pizzaplex, because he knew Night was here, as her car was in the parking lot. As if she knew she was on his mind, The 17-year-old emerged from the bathroom, covered in bruises and cuts.

Sunny rushed over, scooping her up as if she were a trapped princess and he was her knight in shining armor. "Moonlight, what happened?!"
"I tripped and fell, Sunbug. I'm fine" she replied.

Bull-fucking-shit. Sunny wasn't stupid. " if that fucking boyfriend of yours was behind this, I'm going to fucking kill him!" Sunny's eyes flashed from Blue to a fiery orange.
"Sunrise, I told you I fell. Put me down so I can go back to work!"

" You aren't working in this condition. Not on my damn watch!" Sunny walked over to Dylan's greenroom, with Dylan wrapping her in a blanket. "Keep an eye on her, Pickle Boy."
Dylan blinked. " weird nickname, but you got it."

Once Sunny left, Dylan sat down. " Do you need anything to eat? I could head to the pizzeria that's directly across from my green room. That way I can keep an eye on you while I get you some lunch."

" i'm 17 years old, Dylan. I can handle myself."
"Sunny said no."
Night got up, looking the slightly older boy dead in the eyes. "Axel, he-"
"He what, baby sis?" Dylan looked concerned, his brows furrowed.

Before an answer could come out of her mouth, axel entered the room, putting an arm around his girlfriend.
" i've been looking for you babe" Night shivered, Dylan grabbing her from his grasp. The boy grabbed his microphone stand from the corner of the room and held it up defensively. " what the hell did you do to my little sister you piece of rotten shit?!
Axel put his hands up. "Woah there, pretty boy. Calm down! I didn't do anything to her, she's my girlfriend. And besides, she's not your little sister."

" I've considered her my little sister for the past few years I've known her. What the fuck did you do to her?! Either you answer me now, or I will fucking impale you right here with this goddamn microphone stand.

Axel laughed, a sickly chuckle. " you're smart. You figure it out. Oh wait, you couldn't even figure out that Gregory was our biological child. Anyway, me and my girlfriend just had sex and that was it."
Dylan knew that wasn't the case, but what he said made the boy fall to the floor.
"You raped her, didn't you?! you sick fuck! I knew those bruises and cuts did not come from a fall!"
Everyone turned around to see Sunny standing there. His eyes no longer blue, rather, a crackling fiery red.

"oh look, the sunshine child once again shows up to ruin my life! Look at you, Detective."
Sunny slammed the boy against the wall, his hands clamped around Axel's throat and his knee digging into the boy's abdomen. " how dare you violate her like that? She's done nothing but show you respect in the past two years I've known her. But no, nothing is never enough for you, is it?!"
Axel tried to talk, but Sunny pressed his hands tighter around his throat.
" i'm not done, you slimy prick. You were getting so mad that you weren't getting any sex from any of your side hoes that you go and violated the one woman who loved and cared for you. and you really think I didn't know about the one time you tried getting her purposefully pregnant by putting holes in your own condoms? Yeah, you really are slimy aren't you? Disgusting garbage I swear to God!"

Sunny dropped Axel, pressing his foot against the boy's sternum. " i'm gonna make you regret every single action you made in your pathetic little life. Especially hurting my best friend. I'm gonna start by breaking your ribs!"

"Ha! Like your pathetic ass can do shit to me! Forest tried, but I broke their legs. What makes you think you can do anything?" Axel hissed.

"He can do much worse to you because I'm here now. Sunny, i'm going to hold him down and you get a break every single pathetic limb and bone in his body. I'll help you with the hard to crack ones." Dylan pinned Axel to the floor, starting off by breaking his right leg. " That one is for Forest. Your turn, Sunny."

Sunny nearly broke all of Axel's ribs, The rest of his limbs, and even fractured his skull a bit in a blind rage. Axel now lay bruised, bloody, battered, and unconscious on the floor. Sunny deliver the final blow by spitting on him, allowing his best friend Dylan to kick his body like the rubbish that it was.

"I hope you never have anymore kids, you fleabag." Dylan hissed.

Sunny rushed to Night, holding her close. He doesn't know if he should do this, but hopefully it would be the first step into healing a traumatized heart. His lips pressed against hers, gently rubbing her back.

Night returned the kiss, knowing she was finally safe.

A few years later, they got married. Not long after that, they adopted little Seren. Then after that, Cyrus was adopted. They thought their family was complete until Night found out she was pregnant with Sunny's child. Seven months into the pregnancy, Hunter was found in a shed and adopted almost immediately. Not long after that, Riley was born.

Their family was complete, and Night couldn't be more happy
