Cyrus leaned back, a can of root beer in his hand.
"Y'know, Hunter, I'm mama and dad's favorite."
"In your dreams." The blonde responded, fiddling with his hoodie string.
Cyrus turned his head. "You're right, but they do have favorites."
Hunter paused, stomach sinking. "No they don't."
Cyrus knew the look that crossed Hunter's face. "Sure."
Before Hunter could get a word in, in ran little Seren, Riley hot on his trail, toddling in with his toy in her mouth.
"She has Sir Starcatcher! Get him back please." The young child cried. Hunter smiled warmly, bending down to meet Riley's level. "Ri, can I have the dragon, please?"
Riley shook her head. "Come on, Riley.. that's Seren's toy."
When the little girl wouldn't budge, Hunter ran to the nursery. Cyrus, having enough of the whining, sighed. "Riley Lilah, give Seren the toy."
The toddler took it out of her mouth, Cyrus snatching it. "Eugh, baby saliva." Cyrus muttered. Riley began to turn red, but Hunter returned with a pacifier and Riley's beloved Mama Bear. "Here, sweet girl." The boy picked her up, resting Riley on his chest. The tyke suckled on the pacifier, holding her stuffed animal tightly. "Toddlers often explore their surroundings using their mouths, so I'm not surprised she had Sir Starcatcher in hers." Hunter stated, sitting on the couch.
Seren understood. "Because she's learning, right?"
"Bingo, Ser Bear." Hunter ruffled the child's white hair in appraisal.
"Bigo!!" Riley shouted, pointing to the tv. Cyrus realized his siblings won't be little forever, so he turned on Bluey, watching the kids' eyes light up with joy.

Night and Sunny came home from their date, only to see all four of their kids asleep on the couch with Bluey on in the background. Hunter held Riley, Seren curled on Cyrus' chest. The parents smiled before taking a photo.
"How long you think it'll be until we get another moment like this?" Sunny asked his wife, who laughed
"Twenty years, Sunny."
