The police entered the Wittebane estate, treading throughout the house. They had received a call from Cyrus Slydale, a boy who they knew all too well. The teenager claimed that his younger brother Hunter who used to be part of the Wittebane family had been heavily abused in their custody, specifically by the patriarch of the family, Philip. Now, they just needed the evidence. Chief Elway clutched the warrant in his hand, walking up the steps. He came across a bedroom that belongs to Philip and his wife Mia. The bed was large, king sized. Everywhere had an accent of gold and the furniture seemed really expensive. The bed was neatly made, and there was a wall mounted TV directly in front of it hanging on the wall. As the man was exploring, he placed his hand on the wall, but it felt hollow. The police chief cocked a brow, before grabbing his pocket knife. the chief of police cut into the space on the wall, revealing multiple CDs. Elway's face turned a stark white. As much as he wanted to bring them to the police station like he was supposed to do, he knew where he had to bring them.
The rest of the house was cleared, until the group of police men and women realized there was a basement. Elway turned on his flashlight, walking amongst the dusty hallway and the rats that scattered the floor. A door up ahead piqued his interest
He entered a bedroom with a name on the door that read:
Grace Caela
The chief opened the door, knowing exactly who this room used to belong to. Hell, it wasn't even a room. It was more like a dungeon. The blankets had holes in them which were crudely stitched closed. The pillow having a similar look. Even the bed was barely being held together. Books on being trans were hidden under the bed, as well as old rations of food. But there was something else hidden behind a bookshelf. A set of shackles hung on the wall, blood around the cuffs.
The chief couldn't take the sight, crumbling to his knees and crying. He couldn't even bear to think that somebody would do this to their own child, especially that he and his husband had two little boys of their own. He took both pictures and video of the room and everything that was found in it before the real evidence photos were taken.
Elway knew what he had to do now.

He rode his police cruiser all the way to the Slydale home, knocking on the door. Out came Night, both of her young children in her arms. "What did Cy do now..?" The man could hear the sleepiness in her voice, considering it was 6 o'clock in the morning."This is not about Cyrus. May I please come in?"
Night nodded, letting the chief inside.
"You might want to put the kids in another room and I'm going to need a CD player."
Night felt off hearing him speak like that, she can sense that something was wrong. She put Seren and Riley in her bed, before digging for something. It was her husband's old laptop, which had a CD player inside. Night sat it on the coffee table, with Elway popping in the first CD.
In this tape, Hunter couldn't be older than three, and Philip stood in front of him.
"Grace, I can't believe you cut your beautiful hair and allow your uncle to buy you boys clothes! Now you look like a boy, and an ugly one at that. Lay across my lap, now." Philip's tone was vicious and demanding. Hunter looked terrified and scared. "No, daddy! Pwease!"Night watched as her son was beaten with a belt repeatedly until he bled. Video after video, it got worse. Until the most recent CD and the last one in the box. It was labeled just a few months before she found him in a shed. Night took it from the police chief and popped it in the computer herself, not prepared for what she was about to watch.
"Dad! I got you the money you wanted so we could start that project for the church!" Hunter was covered in mud, bruises, and cuts. Hunter smiled hoping his father would approve of his efforts, but he got the exact opposite reaction. Philip turned around and snatched the pile of money from him and pinned him against the wall. "You disobeyed my orders, yet again! I told you you had to stay put in that fucking room! Now you'll know what happens to kids who don't listen to their superiors.."
