The moment Apoline saw her sons, the fifty-five year old smiled. "Sunrise...Moonset. My precious boys! Come in, come in!"
"I brought Night and your youngest grand babies with us. The two older ones are at school." Sunny smiled, Seren in his arms. Night was behind him, a cooing Riley on her hip.
"The older ones aren' here?! Damn, I wanted to teach them some Aussie curse words and slang." Dal laughed, Apoline glaring at her husband. "Dal, you behave yourself!"

"And what if I don't, my dear Appie?" Dal smirked
"I'll kick your ass back to Brisbane."
"I grew up in Sydney. I moved to Brisbane when I was 14."
"I could care less. No teaching my grandchildren anything foul!" She glared at him.

"I'm Australian, my dear. Foul language is in my DNA. It's all I know..." Dal took his granddaughter from Night, smirking. "All right, cheeky girl! Can you say "bloody fucking hell! This is a load of horse shit!" For me?"

Night snatched her daughter from the fifty six year old, looking at her father in law with a glare he's only seen from his wife. "What?! The lil one has aussie blood! Why do you think she likes Bluey?!"
Night stared at him, Apoline stepping in. "Dal, I could give zero crud that my granddaughter is a quarter Australian. She is a baby and you will talk to her as such. I am not afraid to put you in your place, the same applies for our littlest grandson. If I catch you teaching these babies ANYMORE obscenities, it will be the LAST thing you do! Ya hear me?!" Apoline gripped the spatula she was cooking with so tightly, it looked like it could break any moment under her grasp. The woman turned, continuing making a breakfast that consisted of strapatsatha, aka Greek scrambled eggs, ladenia, and toast.

"Mama's cookin' the good shit, Sunny!" Moon yelled out, Apoline glared at her oldest son. "Moonset Arche! What did I just say??"
"You said not to teach swears to my nephew and niece, and I'm not!"

"Cursing directly in front of them is teaching them that it's OK. If I hear anything else that is a swear of any kind, I'm not making rizogalo after breakfast." Apoline watched her boys pout as if they were little kids again.

Both Sunny and Moon loved it when their mom made the rice pudding dish, and they weren't gonna miss out on their favorite childhood treat.
"Hey Moonman! I'm gonna show Seren my childhood room!" Sunny shouted, picking up his son. Sunny walked through that door, and the bedroom remained untouched. The bedspread covered in an adorable dragon and castle print remained clean and wrinkle free. The man smiled fondly at the memories this room held, setting his little boy on the floor. Seren saw something on the bed and climbed up in curiosity. It was a stuffed green dragon whose color had faded because he was dirty,  and was missing an eye, signs of being well loved over the years. "Who's this, daddy?"

"That's Sir Starcatcher. Had him since I was a bit older than your sister. He was my best friend growing up and we went on a lot of adventures together." Sunny looked over to see his little boy gently cuddling the dragon, reminding him of his younger self. "Because I have to do grown up things and I can't go on super cool adventures anymore, he's in need of a new best friend, and he's probably lonely.  I think you would make a good friend for him! What do ya say, buddy? Wanna take him home?"
Seren's eyes lit up. "Really?! I can have him??"
Sunny smiled. "Yup! Maybe mommy can fix him up for you."

As they were walking back downstairs, both Night and Apoline were screaming in a panic. Night had just received a call that Cyrus was being rushed to the hospital due to a car crash,Hunter as well, as he was in the backseat.
~~~~~
"DRIVE, APOLINE! DRIVE! MY BOYS ARE HURT!" Night was panicking, so Sunny thought he'd hold her close and sit in the back with the little ones.
"I'M GOING! I'M NOT TRYING TO BREAK CONNECTICUT TRAFFIC LAWS AND END UP IN JAIL!!" Apoline yelled.
"FUCK THE LAW! MY BABIES!"
~~~
Night, Sunny, the little ones, Apoline, Dal, and Moon entered Gravesfield Children's Hospital, with Night running to the receptionist's desk. "I need to know where Cyrus Orion Slydale and Hunter Golding Slydale are located. They're my sons."
Once the room details were given, the family rushed upstairs to the third floor. Hunter was covered in bandages, an IV attached to his hand. Cyrus was looking much worse, as both his arm and leg were broken. "My boys! Are you okay?!" Night was worried, giving Hunter a few kisses before moving over to Cyrus' bed. "I'm fine, mama. The doctors said They had to put Cyrus in a coma; they don't know if he's gonna wake up or not."
