Chapter Seven: Curse Womb

"Our window verified the curse womb three hours ago."

You stare at the juvenile hall, not ready for this episode. Sukuna gets free because Yuji was terrified to die. I mean who can blame him the special grade spirit was kicking their asses. All because the higher-ups wanted to get rid of Yuji.

'If I was strong and lacked empathy and morals I would love to kill the higher-ups,' you thought, glaring at the place. This ominous feeling cloaks your body, like a weight on your shoulders. 

"Do not fight under any circumstances. If you encounter a special-grade, your options are to either run or die."

Will you even make it out of here? You frown and turn around when you hear a woman yelling. That's right that's the woman who's here to visit her son. A mother's worry, a mother's fear of losing her child. It made your throat tighten as you listened to her cries. Even if her son did commit horrible actions that's still her kid. 

"Fushiguro, Kugisaki, L/N," Yuji spoke, determined. "We're gonna save them!"

"Of course we are," Nobara spoke, also determined. 

You and Megumi grunt in response, agreeing with Yuji.

You head into the doors, Block 2 just as Ijichi drops a veil. 

"It's becoming night!" Yuji announces, peeking up to the sky. "It's Veil," Megumi starts to explain. "There's a residential area nearby, so this barrier conceals us from the outside world." You never realized how dark Veil's make the world. It's almost like everything is in a deep shade of blue. You probably became so accustomed to it, you didn't think twice about it.

"That is so cool," you said, staring at the sky. 

"Demon Dogs!" From the shadows Megumi's white demon dog forms and howls. "He'll let us know if the curse gets close." God his fur looks so fluffy. 

"Don't work too hard okay buddy!" you said, excitedly petting his fur. 

"Why are you telling him to not do his job?" Nobara asked, annoyed. You turn to her also annoyed. "I just said don't work too hard, not "don't work at all!" Why would I want this puppers to overwork himself." 

"Let's just go," Megumi orders before going to open the door. When he opens the door it felt like a cold air rushing at you. 

'Here we go Y/N don't die.'

You follow them down the halls, feeling your stomach churn as you know what's to come...or maybe you don't. 

"Hold on!" 

You all stop in place and look up. Endless upon endless building stories and windows.
