Chapter Nineteen: Curse

You head into your room in a panic, completely freaking out. You didn't know how to process how deep in Mahito's clutches your brother is in. Nanami had requested to meet with Yuji for something so you're alone. 

'It's all happening, it's heading in that direction,' you thought, panicking. Your mind is not thinking straight as you entered your room. You head into your room, blinking in surprise at the sudden amount of dust that lingers in the air. You cough and wave it away and then quickly grab items. If your brother is on Junpei's path then Mahito is going to kill Rosa tonight! 

You hastily grab a handful of references and shove them into your pocket. You grab a bag until you feel your whole body freeze, making you drop it. It felt like a force making you stay in place.

"And where do you think you're going?"

You hear Gojo's voice behind you as he takes slow steps around you. 'No!' you thought. He's using his Infinity to hold you in place! "I have tried to be patient Y/N, and I admit I tried to use unethical ways to get you to talk. But I have run out of patience, do you know what's going on in the world?" He stands in front of you and holds his phone in front of you.

He shows you a picture of what looks like floating white tears in the air. Like someone cut the air and left a void. 

"These started appearing out of nowhere," he spoke so seriously it terrified you. "These are tears that are growing bigger every day. The tears are like doors into other worlds. Because you are hidden you don't see them. What I have discovered is that curses are drawn to them and they are entering some kind of void. People are walking by them and they can't see them so they are getting sucked through them and we never see them again. You have thirty seconds to explain everything or I will get my answers one way or another." 

He lifts his blindfold revealing only one eye. "Even if it means I have to tear you apart piece by piece."  Fear runs through your body and you feel his infinity release your upper body only. 

"I..." you start, terrified. "Came from a reality much like this one, but we don't have curses there. I-I was taken here by some god, a woman visited me at night to tell me to leave or to stay or I will cause destruction. I don't know much Gojo I swear!"

He grabs your chin harshly, gripping it tightly you're afraid that he's going to snap your jaw in half. "And you're only telling me this now? Were you going to hide it forever?" You whimper in pain. "I didn't know how to tell anyone this!" His eye scans your terrified ones. 

"You're hiding something," he hums. "What else do you know?"

"I really don't!" you said, panicking. "I don't know as much as you do! And everything I thought I knew is worthless because everything keeps changing."

"What is changing Y/N?" he demands getting impatient. "What do you know?"
