I got cleaned up and dressed in one of Gabriel's shirts. It was a soft, long sleeve that I had to roll up a bunch to fit my arms. I went to his office down the hall to wait for Myra, but she was already there waiting for me.

"Well, hello girly, I hope you at least got to have some fun before the boys got called away?" She laughed.

"I did, but definitely not enough." I sighed, and she laughed harder.

"Tell me about it..." She rolled her eyes. "Back to Thursdays plans, at least this part is done. I sent off the invites, letting them know it was a black tie and a masquerade to bring a mask if they could, but there would be some here if not. Anna is squared away, I already sent word for the guys to haul out the crates we will need, and they are bringing them up to the dining hall for us to go through tonight or tomorrow!"

"Perfect, what would I do without you? Now we need to pick out our dresses and find a mask to match them!" I smiled. "Oh, I also need to send word to the castle for some staff to come help."

"I already did that as well! I was chatting with Cammy." She grinned, "I talked Gabriel into buying some wine from her reserve! So let's head downstairs and we can try on some dresses for you and I'll show you my new dress!" She squealed, standing up, and I nodded, grinning.

We headed to her room and she grabbed her dress, and then went to my room to look through my closet. I saw a few dresses I didn't recognize. One in particular caught my eye. It was a gold ball gown, and the entire thing shimmered and sparkled. It was strapless and had a corset backing. It was beautiful and reminded me a lot of the large gowns Cammy and I would wear to the balls held at the castle.

I pulled it out and held it up against my body, turning around to look in the mirror and to show Myra.

"What do you think?"

"Oh my gosh, it is perfect!" She clapped her hands excitedly. "What is that white thing?" She asked, reaching out to grab something hanging off the side of the dress. It was a piece of paper, a note, she read it aloud. "Baby girl, I know the Moon Goddess has blessed you with your mate, I hope you see how special that is and that he treats you as the Princess you are. I hope he helps you to become the Luna I know you are destined to be. I saw this dress and thought of you. I love you so much, honey. Mum."

I teared up a little bit, my mother was the sole parent to Cammy and I growing up as my father didn't want much to do with us unless it was criticizing us or forcing us to be taught by many teachers. My mother was always there for us both, and I'm going to miss not having her around. I am happy this is the dress I chose, she knows me well.

"Oh, this is a beautiful gown she picked out." I smiled, and a tear rolled down my cheek.

"I see where Camilla gets her sense of style from!" She laughed. "Well, go on, try it on, I'll put mine on, too!"

She grabbed her dress bag from the bed and ran into the bathroom to change. I pulled off the shirt I was wearing and slipped into the dress, pulling it up into place, and started tightening the ribbons on the back. Thankfully, from years of wearing dresses like this, I have grown accustomed to these lace up backs and could do it myself rather quickly. I finish and step in front of the mirror. The dress fits perfectly. I stand on my tippy toes so I can see how it will hang with heels on, and it is an inch above the ground. Clearly, it was tailored for me. My eyes roam, taking in all the detailing, and I notice my mark is shimmering along with the dress, I will have to make sure to wear my hair up.

I hear the bathroom door open, and Myra calls out she is ready. I step out of the closet, and we both stand looking each other up and down large grins plastered on our faces. Her dress is a deep red satin gown with a dangerously low scoop neckline. It has 3/4 sleeves, a clinched waist, and a large skirt like mine. She grabbed handfuls off it to lift and walk over to me. She curtsies giggling, and I return it.
