"I choose weapons today." I said, and his smile faltered a little. This was his least favorite form of training with me. Oh well, he gave me the option.

"Fine, go select a weapon and go to the mat." He sighed, following me over to the stands laid out.

I grabbed two karambit knives and stuck them in the waistband of my pants, then picked up two long axes and swung them around to see if they would be a good choice. I was happy with how they felt and walked to the mat, I turned to watch him pick up a belt of throwing knives and shuriken. He then selected a long spear with a sharp blade. He would have been better off with a sword against these axes...

"Hey, if you want a chance at winning, I would grab a strong sword you feel comfortable enough wielding." I laughed, and he gave me a dirty look but did go back and grab a large saber and tucked it into his knife belt.

I could see some omegas that were coming out to enjoy their lunch on the grass. They looked in our direction and decided to come sit and watch us train. Other warriors joined them standing around to watch.

"Don't hold back, Felix. I want you to try and win." I grinned.

Weapons were what I excelled at whenever we did hand to hand combat. He preferred fists or wolves fighting. He always said most wolves aren't walking around carrying swords, so why bother training this way.

He growled at me as we circled each other. He tightened his grip on his spear, and I came forward. The sound of metal clanging and grunts echoed around the yard. He had the upper hand when it came to brute strength, but I could out maneuver him any day. He was able to get a quick jab in and sliced my arm. He grinned, but when I grinned back, he lost his smile.

I sped up my assault and had both axes swinging in different directions. He had a hard time defending himself with the spear. He saw an opening I gave him on purpose and plunged the spear at me, and I dodged it. I slammed both axes down into the spears' handle, and it splintered, braking into pieces. He growled, tossing it to the side as he backed up. He pulled his sword and swung it to get a feel for it before stepping forward.

I glanced to my side and could see almost forty wolves had come to watch the match. Many warriors were grinning and were too engrossed in what was going on. I smirked and then focused my attention back to Felix as he charged. He was more skilled with the sword than the spear and was taking the hard hits better. He kept shielding himself at the right moment, and I was getting frustrated.

I swung both down, and he raised the sword to meet them with a loud clang. I raised my foot quickly and pushed him back hard in his stomach, and he lost his balance. I used that opportunity to jump to his side quickly and hit him in the back of the leg with the blunt side of the axe, which would certainly leave a bruise. He fell to one knee, and I swung around completely to gain momentum and hit him square in the chest, and he flew backward, landing on his back.

I could smell Gabriel, and I straightened to see him, Eli and Axel, watching, all with grins on their faces. I heard Felix throw down his sword, and I turned too late to dodge the knife he threw. It sunk deep into my thigh, and I let out a growl. I pulled it out and stuck it in my waist band, damn that hurt. I heard a loud growl from Gabriel, and I just waved him off, I was the one who just hurled him halfway across the mat, then got distracted.

Felix was up on his feet and rubbed his chest. He grabbed a knife and a throwing star from his belt. He had very good aim, and this was his strongest weapon choice. I rolled my weight back onto my good leg in case I had to jump, I didn't pick any distant combat weapons, so I had to move in closer. I stalked forward as we circled each other.

He threw three knives one after the other as I ran towards him. The first two I reflected with my axes, but the third hit the handle and flew up into the underside of my arm. The axe fell from my hand. Thankfully, it was my left hand, and I was now within striking range. I pulled my karambit knife into my left hand and swung my axe down fast and swiped up with my knife right after, the blunt side of the axe his his arm hard and I heard a bone crack. The blade sliced up his torso and cut the skin from his belly button to his chest, thankfully not deep.
