I woke up to an empty bed again. I sat up and looked around. Where was Gabriel? I crawled out of bed and went to the bathroom to pee and brush out my hair. My reflection caught my eye as I walked past the mirror. My mark had healed, and tiny lines had formed around it in an intricate pattern. It was a very faint lavender color it was almost iridescent it shimmered in the light. It was beautiful. I've never seen a mark that color before...

I quickly finished up in the bathroom and grabbed one of Gabriel's shirts to put on so I could run to my room to get dressed. I thankfully didn't pass anyone on my way to my room. I glanced at the clock on my way to the closet and it was 5:40, gross, why is it so early...? I sighed and just decided to get dressed and head to the kitchen, I grabbed a cute white chiffon dress that hit mid thigh and had pretty lace sleeves and a gold belt. I ran into the bathroom and pulled my hair into a loose bun, and left a few strands out for a cuter look.

Once I was all good, I put on some mascara and sandals and headed downstairs to help Anna.

I followed a group of omegas into the kitchen to see Anna and her team busy prepping for breakfast. I watched her turn with a confused look on her face, then saw me and smiled, her eyes instantly going to my mark. Her smile grew as she bowed.

"Good morning, Luna." Everyone turned to look and me then bowed, some murmuring Princess, Luna or your Highness.

"Good morning, everyone. I still have to be accepted by the pack before I am officially Luna. Anna, how are you doing this morning?"

"I am doing just peachy now. What brings you down here at this hour?" She asked, beaming.

"I was up, so I thought I'd come lend a hand if needed! What's on the menu this morning?"

"Well, today is Tuesday. Remember what that means?" I thought for a moment then remembered that was the first breakfast I shared with Gabriel.

"Omelet day." I responded, and she nodded, happy I remembered. "Well, last time I made cinnamon rolls, I don't think I have time for that, but I could do a cinnamon coffee cake!"

"Oh, that sounds delightful, we aren't needing the ovens, so that whole side of the kitchen you can have!"

I got set on making enough cake for the pack, running around the kitchen to get all the ingredients I would need and all the bowls and pans. It didn't take too long to whip it all up. I poured it into four big square cake pans and got them in the oven while I started making the glaze. It all smelled so good, and I was excited to taste it when it came out. I let them cool slightly before pouring the glaze frosting on, then started cutting them into squares.

I looked at the clock and it was getting closer to 6:30 when breakfast was served so I went to find some serving trays to lay all the squares on to put them out in the dining hall. I had just finished and set them out for everyone when Myra popped in through the kitchen door.

"Well, good morning, pretty lady, I thought it might be you, whatever that is smells amazing!"

"Good morning." I laughed, she sure was excitable in the morning, I still wish I was sleeping...

I turned to see her wearing a pretty burgundy dress that was long and flowy, and her lipstick matched.

"Well, don't we both look nice today!" She said loudly. "Let's grab some breakfast and go eat on the terrace. You can tell me all about last night." She winked.

I wasn't feeling an omelet so grabbed some fruit, toast, a piece of cake and a big mug of coffee, I'm going to need it to get through today...She loaded her plate and grabbed some cake and coffee as well and we headed upstairs.

"Where's your other half this morning?" I asked her.

"With yours, he got up sometime between four and five this morning, I'm not sure what's going on, clearly something important which he'll tell me about later. After we eat we can bring them some food and see if they need a hand with anything." She smiled, and I nodded.
