We stepped in, and everyone stood as we walked to our table. There were eight chairs lined up, we walked past Hannah, then Myra and Eli, Gabriel passed his chair to hold mine out for me then sat in his. Cammy was next to me and Felix, then Amber.

As soon as Gabriel was seated, the room sat back down and started chatting. I grabbed Gabriel's mask and helped him put it on, and then he did the same for me. I looked out at the room to see wolves were mixed all around, this pack, and the visiting packs. I saw Axel sitting with a little black haired woman in his lap. Did he find his mate? I smiled and scanned around to see if I could see any more new pairs. I suspected a couple more but wasn't too sure. Everyone looked so good in their gowns, suits, and masks. Tonight was going to be great.

The kitchen door opened moments later, and a long stream of wolves carrying trays came out. Two came to our table, and the rest had a full long table served in under a minute. They quickly walked back to grab more and were coming out with more to serve the next table. I looked down at what they served, and it was a salad with pears, candied walnuts, and goat cheese by the smell of it. The dressing smelled sweet.

I waited until everyone was served before eating, as it was polite. When the serving staff came back out and all sat down, I picked up my fork and started eating. It was so good, the walnuts were still warm, and the dressing was a honey vinegrette. I savored each bite, then realized I could now mind link the pack.

Anna, this salad is divine. Thank you, I can't wait to see what you have prepared for dinner.

It is so good to hear your voice, She said happily. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Supper should be out shortly.

Anna, please serve all the tables before mine, I want to make sure everyone gets their food before me.

I can certainly see to that Luna.

I smiled and watched as the wolves came back out, taking the salad plates to replace them with large dishes of the main course. This was a wolf pack, after all. The helpings were very generous. I could see it was meat, something red too. Did she make lobster..? I watched them pour everyone a glass of red wine too. As requested, our table was served last. They set the plate in front of me, and it was steak and lobster, garlic mashed potatoes, and asparagus.

Gabriel dug right into his steak and took a huge bite, I looked at him, and he smiled bashfully at me. I started with the lobster, and it was cooked perfectly, I worked around my plate trying everything and was so happy at how good it all was. I was dancing a little in my seat without realizing it.

"Are you enjoying your food, Gracie?" Cammy piped up.

"It is so good! Do you like it as well?" I asked her.

"Yes, it is delicious. You are doing your happy food dance." She laughed.

"My what?"

"Your happy food dance, you've done it since we were little. You tend to sway side to side and hold your fork up like that." She pointed to my hand that was close to my mouth. "It's cute." She laughed again, and I blushed and smiled, putting my hand down.

"The food is just really good. It makes us happy." I said, shrugging bashfully.

The others laughed, and we continued eating, I was getting full and still wanted our cheesecake. I finished my wine and looked at my plate. I mainly just had my steak left, I only ended up eating two bites of it, I devoured the potatoes and lobster. I looked at Gabriel's plate to see he didn't eat his asparagus, but the rest of his plate was empty. I cut a piece of meat and offered it to him, his chest rumbled as he bent to take it.
