"Why is everyone looking this way?" I ducked my head self-consciously.

"Usually, if we have a royal visiting, they address the pack before we eat, I can understand if you would like to skip that. Just let me know." Eli spoke, sitting next to Myra.

"No, no, I can speak with them." I stood up, turning to face everyone straightening my back.

"Good evening, Silver Moon pack." All eyes were on me, and many nodded and smiled, some saying welcome and good evening back to me. "It is a pleasure to be here, I am here visiting for a few days and would love to be able to chat with you all. We hold your pack and your training programs in such high regard at the castle." A few proud growls and grumbles filled the air from the table of warrior's I spoke with, and I smiled at them warmly. "If there is anything that I can help you with or any questions you have I will try my best to answer them, I know hearing word back from the castle these days can be a slow process. Thank you again for the hospitality I have received so far, and to sweet Miss Anna and her team for this delicious looking meal! May Goddess Selene and Nyx bless us all over this meal that we share together." I bowed to the pack and was met with some howls and cheers. The mood of the room seemed lifted.

"Well, that was rousing dinner speech Grace, much more lively than what your father offers." Eli chuckles as Myra slapped his arm, giving him a look, I laughed.

"It is okay, Myra. I can only imagine what my father would say to this pack.."

I eagerly picked up my fork to dig in, but I wasn't sure where to start the pasta smelled divine, and the steak looked cooked to perfection. I decided on the steak. I grabbed my knife and cut a piece off, then remembered that the Alpha had said his favorite food was steak. I lifted the bite to my mouth but paused to finally look at him. He was, of course, staring. I slid the steak into my mouth while keeping eye contact, and his eyes flew to my lips and watched. I wasn't ready for how good it was actually going to taste.

"Mmmmm," I groaned. "This is heavenly."

I closed my eyes as I chewed, and the wolves at my table chuckled. I quickly turned in my seat to see Anna. She looked up and gave a knowing smile. Oh my goodness, this was hands down the best steak I've had. What do they do to this meat?

I speared a ravioli and popped that in my mouth and the mushrooms and butter sauce were dancing across my taste buds, I could die a happy wolf after this meal. I hungrily devoured most of my plate without saying a word to anyone, then realized conversations were going on around me. I peeked my head over at Hannah and smiled. She smiled back.

"Here, Grace, try a bite of the chicken!" she cut me a piece and passed her fork to me. It was so juicy and tender with a smokey seasoning on it.

"That is so good as well, here, try a piece of the steak before I eat it all. This is better than what our chefs cook. I feel like I've been missing out!" I held the fork up to her mouth, and she accepted it. Her eyes went a little wide as she chewed, and she closed her eyes, grinning as she finished it. "I know, right? Anna is magic! You guys better watch out. I'm ready to kidnap her all for myself." I joked with Myra and Eli.

I see a fork come to my plate and see Felix sneakily trying to steal a ravioli from me. I slap his hand, laughing, and he holds his hand to his chest in mock pain. I give in and put two on his plate and steal a bite of mashed potatoes. They were so creamy. His mouth fell open, joking with me.

"Did the Royal Highness just steal food from her servant? That ain't right." He said as he stuffed his face with more food.

"I don't know how Amber puts up with you." I said laughing.

"She is a Saint." Hannah piped in, and we laughed as Felix ducked his head and kept eating.

We all finished our meals and chatted amongst ourselves. The dining hall was loud with so many wolves talking and getting excited. Alpha Gabriel scooted one seat over to sit directly in front of me, I was doing so well to ignore him.
