"piper." a voice called, montoned yet somehow gurgled. she watched figure get closer. she was frozen in spot. locked in steve's car. what was going on. why had he locked her in. he sat in the front seat. staring forwards.

"steve. let me out." she cried. hand reaching out to shake him, but the skin never met. her hand seemed to flat straight through him. he threw look over his shoulder and she screamed. his neck was torn like he had been strangled by some kind of monster. there was blood splattered on his chest. amd she leaped for the door. wrapping her fingers around the handle trying her hardest to open the locked door. her efforts came short, it didn't budge. not steve steve reached towards her.

"break the glass." a voice spoke beside her. she looked to see max, her eyes were white and she looked scared. no. no. no. and pipers shut her eyes, face growing blank as she raised a fist. step back, leap forward and smack. she leaned back, threw herself forwards and she slammed a fist into the glass. hearing a sickening crack follow. there was a crack in the blood painted glass. and she raised her fist again, ignored the sting of pain. and she struck again. another crack and a smash. more of the glass was cracking. a hand wrapped around her throat. she heard max scream and she threw her fist into the glass one more time. hand reached for the outside handle and she was thrown out of the car. but instead of grass that they were parked on like intended. she grew cold. wet. she was on water. she opened her eyes. she was kneeled in water. ice cold rushing water that tugged at her clothes. trying to pull her in. there was bodies in the water. she reconised the bodies in the water. she heard the distant chime of a clock. no. she doesn't recognise the bodies in the water. she got jump, ignoring the sting of cold ad she tried to walk away. she didn't reconise the bodies in the water. hands claw at her. faces of her friends appeared from under drowning. no. not her friends. she clawed to get out, when stairs appeared before her. she wasn't just in water. she was in a room flooded with water. she was in the basement. she cried and cried as she climbed up the stairs. her hand hurts. she was so cold, her body was numbing. and feet appeared above her. the face of her brother.

"please let me go."

"run." it croaked. looking behind her. she didn't bother looking behind her as she ran for the door forever to remain shut. another chime followed as the long hallway with the clock. that stupid blossom block.

"tick tock." someone mocked.

"oh fuck off." she screamed. backing against the clock as the figure got closer.

"you couldn't save him. you won't be able to save her. all this to save yourself."

"leave me alone." she cried.

"why can't you just help me? i can save them." he spoke, bringing his hand to her face. brushing a strand of hair behind her ear. the figure before her was no longer some ugly kind of sludge monster. he was pretty. he wore white and seemed to glow a golden colour, how ironic. he was angelic, the devil in disguise. this was the man in her dreams, the one whispering in her ear. she looked away, trying to pretend to not reconise the bodies in the water filling the hallway.

"i could bring him back, piper." he spoke again. cupping her cheek. her face twisted in disgust, she wanted to get away. she needed to get away. she was trapped.

"max." she heard the echo of steves cry. yes. they were saving max. but as long as the three were saving max that's all that counted. save max and everything would be okay. she would die for max, but she could not live for max.

"max." and the mans face dropped, he started to rot and wither before her very eyes. the air around them seemed to snap, crackle and pop as it grew red. yet the coldness still stung.

"you're a silly little girl parker, shame ialmost started to like you." he spoke almost mocking her, her eyes finding a body behind them beginning to fly up into the sky. shit. no. and that cold pull sensation drifted around her, she felt like she was floating as he pushed her into darkness. and the girl's mind submerged into a void.
