and the lights buzzed back on yet she found herself in a completely different situation. she found herself in the same white room the dead woman holding the baby was in. but it was clean, sparkly clean in fact. and she laid not so peacefully on the bed, groaning as a pain in her temple burned. reaching for it to find her limbs not working. she was strapped to the bed, but it didn't matter. she found herself not able to move from the neck down. vines twisting around her arms to keep her in place. that familiar man in white appeared at the end of the bed, smiling as if he were some angel. the flicker of lights revealing his true self, the vecna form. as ugly as his insides.

"show me eleven." he smirked, taking a step forward. noticing how much she wanted to move but could not. she mumbled a no but he found himself walking to stand beside her bed. and he reached out, as she closed her eyes. images of eleven flashing in her mind. the girl smiling and giggling in the mall. her asleep laying cuddled with max on piper's bedroom floor. she stood staring at her in a void of nothingness. before nothing at all .she had cut him off.

"fine." he snarled, pressing his finger to her temple and she screamed. a burning iced pain branding against her skin. cold settling deep into her bones, she didn't want to give him the satisfaction of crying. she just screamed. no tears came and he stopped. visibly irritated by the girl's lack of loyalty to her creator.

"i cannot kill you." he spoke and her eyes flashed open. he couldn't kill her, she couldn't die at his hands. she nearly laughed. he couldn't even kill her. before realising what this meant. he couldn't kill her, but it didn't mean he wouldn't hurt her. torture her.

"i want you to show eleven." and he lifted his hand to her face once more. the pale skin overgrown with vines as he transformed into his true form. feeling her head snap up. steve screamed as the girl's head did as such. this is what eddie described as what happened to chrissy. blood ran from the girl's blank eyes as her mouth fell open.

"no!" she whimpered and a million images, events and scenes hit her at once. images of people dying, screaming. the world is crumbling. portal opening. clocks ticking and cracking. the smell of buning, the sound of crying.

"fuck off." she snarled. the ground splitting in half. a church falling into red. hawkins splitting open. bodies, smoke and fire. before the final one hit her. she stood alone on a flowery hill, the land of hawkins crumbled and washed. blood on her hands. but the most unsettling thing of all was. the fact her eyes were void and a grin plastered on her features. and she gasped as she was thrown back into reality. eyes clouded as she steve dragged her to the ground. holding her body tightly in his arms.

"it's okay, i've got you. i've always got you." he chanted. the girl's tears were hot on her cheeks. he decided not to mention the tears of which were red as if blood. tears of blood. the images she had seen flashing before her eyes. she was hyperventilating. unable to breath, weight pushing on he chest. steve's voice is almost like a light at the end of a dark tunnel trying to pull her in. and she looked up through the bloodied tears eyes. the blur of the vision cleared as she looked up at the boy kneeling above her. his pretty face falled in fear and worry for her. he had never looked more scared and he had fought off all kinds of demo-creatures. but holding a girl with clouded vision and bloodied tears was a sight he could never escape. much like the room painted in blood from the russian base.

"it's okay piper, you're okay." he did his best at trying to comfort her. she looked more traumatised every second she spent in hawkins. deep down some part of him wished she had never moved back here. that she had never walked into the ice cream store that day.never agreed to give him a second chance. he wished she was somewhere else, anywhere but hawkins. far as possible in fact. from this town, and from him. the magnet of trouble.

"i'm so sorry, i love you." he told her, but his words were nothing but static to her ears. 001 words in her head. one of them. no. she couldn't be. she didn't have powers, she wasn't like el. and she certainly was not anything like 001. it was not real. she did not have powers. that glass back in the mall was simply the mind flayer.

el sat in the bed, wrapped in a towel. everything she had ever lost had returned.

"he's claimed three victims so far, and when i saw his eyes. i knew. i knew that was him." d owens told the young girl as he handed over a file. originally they weren't planning on telling the girl about henry's return, but with her progress growing it seemed only fair. especially since dr brenner had seen a girl in el's memories he could recognize anywhere. the small bright blue eyes. and cupid bow lips. piper.

"he was sending us a message, letting us know he's back." he told her as she stared at the pictures of the bodies. eyes sucked out of their skulls. bones cracked and twisted. hawkins kids. when she turned to the last page, the double page that made her feel sick. not because she was shown dead. but because of the red stamp over the picture of her. her friend, piper. it was a picture of her, sitting smiling. like a photo for school.

printed in red letters over her. she read the words written around her. possible target? possible lead? possible spy? el's head hurt as she looked down. they suspected a random girl from hawkins as a spy for henry creel. not possible.

"she is either at risk of being targeted or at risk of suspicion."

"i know her, she would not." el re read the file.

name: piper parker (creel)
status: unknown

and she stopped. looking back over to the red bracketed name next to piper's name. creel. piper wasn't a creel relative. the creels were all dead aside from 001. she looked up at papa, hoping her suspicion would not be correct.

"nina wasn't the only project we tried." he commented, not going into detail so she turned to dr owens.

"we genetically templated dna." they cloned 001, is what el gathered he meant. but piper wasn't similar to henry creel. piper was sweet, forgiving and kind. she knew piper, she was friends with piper. but 001 had been at first, masking his true form of evil. but piper was different. she was nothing like her genetically biological father.

mate, not going to lie this plot has, well, lost the plot. i couldn't decide with plot path to go down. henry creel was her brother, or her dad. but i feel like her being the genetic dupe of 001 fitted better for the never mentioned power. hence why the mind flayer went for her in the first place.

it's took me this long to realize the lack of depth i had gone into her character. but aside from that, i think this plotline is new. i'm not sure i don't really read fanficiton i just write. so enjoy the rest when it arrives. not even i know who piper's character goes from this.
