SCENE FOURTY. "i can't lose her."

and a car pulled up. screeching to a stop in the middle of all the communion. steve's mouth went dry as the woman stepped out, she was wearing her pjs. she must have heard the news on the tv and came to see if she was here. it was mary parker. and the second she spottesteve her face fell. and she knew. he sat in the back of an ambulance. the machines were blurring behind him as they rushed to help the girl. and she was running over, the boy standing. and she pulled him into a hug, just like she used to do. throwing a look of his shoulder to the girl in the ambulance. pale faced and blooded.

"i can't lose her." he cried, and not only did he cry. but he sobbed. the youngest of the group turning away, leading steve to have his mourning. they knew he was klingon for them, dustin ignored the sting of tears as he heard the mothers cry as she stepped up into the amumbled. holding the boy's hand as she looked down at her daughter. it was horrific. an image that would plague her nightmares. they had never found thomas' body after the river, and now looking down at the state of her daughter she was glad. because she wouldn't have been able to handle it, but piper was all she had left now. reaching forward to grab the girl's cold hand. finding her finger gripped tightly around cool metal. a chain wrapped tightly around her fingers.

"mum?" she mumbled, eyes not even bothering to open. it was as if she just knew.

"i'm here baby, mummy's here." the elder cried as he wrapped her fingers around her girl's hand. motiong steve to join them.

"steve's here too, baby." she spoke and the girl's eyes fluttered open. flickering to the boy stood beside her mum. his hair a mess and face bruising, she definitely didn't look much better. and he leaned forward, pressing the softest kiss to her forehead. her mother couldn't help the smile on her face as she watched her daughter suck in a breath.

i can't believe season three is done now, onto the betweenand then season four which i am very excited about!!
