"turn around, look at what you see. in her face, the mirror of your dreams." the girl heard as she entered the empty house. she was helping the byers packall the boxes into the vans. they were moving. away. hearing max and lucas made her grin, it was the song. the one she could pick up as she tried to fight off the mind flayer in her body.

"wait, did we get that verse right? it's unfold behind the clouds?" max questioned looking at the curly haired boy who was packing away toys. piper rolling her eyes at the group as she passed the door. heading towards a room.

"yeah, but you're butchering it. so could you please stop." dustin spoke as piper walked into the empty room. only a couple boxes on the floor now remain. she had never seen inside the byers house. but judging by the amount of boxes. it was homely.

"max stop bullying dustin!" could be heard as piper picked up another one of the boxes from jonathan's room. it was a box of music, abba, queen, the beatles, the smiths. she heard max and lucas start singing straight away as piper passed by the door once more. hugging the box of music on her hip as she tried to pull down her top with the other.

"dustin, don't swear at max." she commented spotting the boy sticking his finger up at the couple the second he though she had passed from his action view. smiling at will who joinedher. holding some kind of books. adding it in the donation box as mike went to but in the boys actions. and instead, piper continued to outside where nancy and jonathan where helping put another mattress in the van.

"jonathan, by the way. your music taste is insanely good. i mean, the smiths? queen-" iper rambled as she carried the box to the van ready to hand it to jonatan as nancy jumped out. landing on the floor beside the girl.

"you can have them." he quickly added, not taking the box from the girl.

"seriously?"

"yeah, i'm not going to need to have a box of tapes in cali." even though it was something small, he watched the bright smile lift onto piper's face. a good deed.

"thank you so much.” piper shouted as jonathan smiled, nancy's hand reaching out to bring him inside. seeing if there was any boxes left. there wasn't, everything was gone. just like that. in one day. and she followed the rest of the group outside, they were done. and now it was time for the goodbyes. she may not have known the byers family well but it hurt to see her friends having to say goodbye. so she stood and watched them. watched as mike embraced a crying will. max hugging el so tightly that if she let go, she would leave. like she is. nancy and jonathan holding one another in their goodbyes for now. as el crushed dustin to her, they were cute friends. lucas and will. it made her happy. even though they were all saying goodbye, the emotion was raw. and will hugged her. tightly.

"i'm sorry we never actually got to meet each other." the boy softly cried and she awed. he was so cute. patting his head lightly as she rocked him back and forth. and then jonathan hugged her.

"i'm sorry too, we could have been great friends. look after those tapes for me." he smiled pulling back and she regretted those thing she had said about him when she came ack to hawkins. he wasn't so bad afterall. and him and nancy were the cutest.

"you are like sister." el softly spoke as she stood in front of piper, smiling brightly. and now it was piper's turn to cry. a sister. she had sisters. el thought of her as a sister. piper had been a sister, once over. but it was younger, now she was older. an older sister. to el. to max. to dustin. it warmed her heart. she had a second chance at this. and el hugged ehr, tighter then she had even hugged max. gripping onto the girls white top. before joyce shouted for the kids to get ready to go. it was time. and soon the van was pulling away. max holding her hand as she hugged into max. pipers arm over dustin’s shoulders. he was trying not to cry. and so was she.
