I drove up to the final apartment building.
I looked for Thomas like I did yesterday before we went in.
He was there leaning against a wall but something was wrong.
His hair was a mess. He looked like he slept in his clothes and his eyes were bloodshot.
I quickly got out of my car and ran to him.
"Thomas? What's happen?" I asked."Huh?" He was half asleep. "Y/N?"
"Yes, Tommy, it's me. What's wrong? What's happened?" I started to feel all panicked.
He murmured something but i didn't catch it.
"What Tommy? I didn't hear what you said."
He said it louder and clearer this time. "I broke up with my girlfriend last night."
My heart sank, I felt like I couldn't breathe.
"Girlfriend?" Was all I could say.
"She thought I was seeing someone else! But I'm not! I said something's and so did she, then I called it off."
"Tommy." I hugged him tightly. "Why didn't you text me?"
"It was really late, I thought you would be asleep." He whispered through my hair.
"I'm always awake when my friends needs me." I replied. "Right, let's sort this hair thing out. Are you sure you want to look at this flat with me? It's okay for you to go home."
"No, I want to stay." He replied so I tried to tidy up his hair and I told him to tuck his shirt in.
Within a few minutes he was more presentable.
We met the woman in the building like normal.
She gave Thomas a funny look which annoyed me so I said "shall we start?"
She nodded and regained her cheesy smile.
She began to walk to the lifts. I rubbed Thomas' back and whispered "are you okay?"
He nodded with half a smile.
So we proceeded in the witch hunt of trying to find a new home.
