"Amy." I whispered and cleared my throat then said it a bit louder "Amy, hi!"

"Y/N, I've missed you so much. I would hug you but I've got a little person in my hands."

I looked down to see her hands wrapped around a cloth. I pulled it down slightly to see a sleeping baby.

"Did mum already replace me?" I laughed.

"No, she's mine."

I felt like I couldn't breath for a second.

I missed my sisters first child.

"She's only been here for a month but we love her." Amy said, smiling down at her baby girl.

"We?" I asked.

"Oh, sorry" Amy turned and waved her hand to a tall blond boy.

He walked over and smiled at me.

"Hi." He said in a deep voice, he was good looking.

"Y/N, this is my finance, Alfie. Alfie, this is my sister I was telling you about." Amy smiled at her boyfriend.

"Its nice to put a face to a name." Alfie said

"I've missed so much." I sighed.

"But your back now!" My sister cheered but I just smiled at her.

"What's her name?" I asked, smiling down at the baby girl.

"Oh sorry, we called her Millie."

"That's a beautiful name." I smiled.

"Do you want to hold her?" Amy asked.

"Can I?"

"Of course!" Amy passed me her little girl and I rocked her back and forth.

"She reminds me of you," Amy smiled at me "always talking."

"Shut up!" I laughed and looked up at Thomas "oh sorry, this is my boyfriend, Thomas."

"Hi Thomas." Amy smiled at him. "I missed you so much Y/N, but has mum or dad seen you?"

"No, not yet."

"I would try to avoid it. I'm sorry Y/N, but dad is so disappointed in you."

That was like I had been punched in the gut.

"Why?" I asked.

"I don't know, because you left the country or something stupid. But he forgave me so he will forgive you."

"I don't think I'm ready to come back." I whispered, looking at Millie.

"Y/N!" I jumped when I heard a voice shout my name then all eyes were glued on me.

Perfect.

"We need to leave." I handed Millie back to my sister and grabbed Thomas's hand "bye Amy." I quickly said without even hugging her.

Why didn't I hug her?

"Y/N! Is that you?" I looked to see my mum running at me.

I just freaked out and began running to our room.

"Y/N! WHAT WAS THAT!" Thomas screamed, shocking me as soon as he closed our room door.

"What?"

"DONT YOU MISS YOUR MUM?"

"Of course I do."

"SHE WAS CRYING! SHE SAW YOU AND SHE STARTED CRYING AND YOU JUST RAN OFF!"

I started to feel tears form in my eyes "I wasn't thinking."

"I KEEP THINKING HOW STRONG YOU ARE BUT YOU KEEP PUSHING AWAY OPPORTUNITIES TO MAKE THINGS BETTER! YOU LIKE LIVING IN THIS SAD LIFE!"

"YOU THINK I LIKE MY LIFE? YOU THINK THAT I LOVE HOW MY OWN DAD DESPISES ME! YOU THINK I LOVE HOW THE ONLY GOOD THING I HAVE IS YOU AND EVEN THAT IS FALLING APART! YOU THINK I LIKE THAT!" I screamed with tears running down my cheeks.

"Do you want me to leave you to think?" Thomas asked, quite calmly which shocked me. His completely changed of attitude scared me a little bit.

Before I could say anything he was opening the door. "I'll be back in a few hours, just think about it. Sometimes its nice to be alone." Then he closed the door and left.

I went and curled up on the bed and cried for a little while.

I soon realised that after all this time that I wanted to scream and cry. All this time I wanted to be alone was all I needed but it wasn't quite enough.

Thomas was right. Being alone does help.

But i'd much rather be alone with him.
