I found a parking space a few streets away from Vaws street.
I slowly walked to the coffee shop, doing a little bit of window shopping on the way.

As soon as I walked onto the street I saw Thomas.
He was dressed in a checked shirt and black jeans.

He saw me and a smile beamed across his face.

"It's the pretty girl!" He said running up to me.
"Hi Thomas." I felt my cheeks start to burn.
"Shall we?" He reached his arm out to me. I wrapped mine into his and he walked me to the coffee shop.

We both ordered a latte and sat down at a table next to the window.

"So, tell me Y/N, how are you doing?" He sweetly asked.
"I'm good thank you. How are you?" I smiled.
"No Y/N, how are you about your sister?" He looked straight into my eyes sternly, but also gently, as if he really cared.
"Honestly, I think I regret my decision. She was my best friend as well as my sister. She stuck by me and was my friend for so long and I just left her." I had to stop the tears running from my eyes.
"Oh Y/N, I'm so sorry." He said.
"It's okay. There's nothing you can do." I picked up my latte and took a sip, looking out through the window.
"So," Thomas thankfully changed the subject "tell me about yourself."
"Well, I like to do acting, I lived in England for my whole life apart from the last three years when I was dragged down here. When I'm older I want to have two children and I want to be happy but for that I need a boyfriend, which hasn't happened since I was 19-it was a nasty breakup - I did a preforming arts course in Uni! It was the best years of my life! I had amazing friends! My best friend of 8 years got closer to me. I thought I had my life planned out, but my mum doesn't like the family being apart. But I've decided to move out now. You?" I asked at the end, practically saying it all in one breath.
"I also like acting. I've been doing it my whole life. I'm just here for a few months, I go back to London after that-"
"Lucky." I interrupted him.
"I also want a family when I'm older. But I don't really know what else." He laughed, causing me to smile.

His phone began to ring, he looked at it but didn't answer it.
"Aren't you going to get that?" I asked.
"No I'm okay." He smiled.

We spoke for another 2 hours, I hadn't laughed as much as I did then since I moved.
There was something about this boy that I trusted. I don't know what, but I wanted to keep him close.
