I tried to stay up and wait for them but my eyelids became heavy and it was so hard to keep them open so eventually I allowed the darkness of my mind to cover my eyes.

My eyes slowly flickered open. The sun was bleeding through the blinds as I checked the clock; 8:51am.
I stretched my arms and my legs.
I patted the side of the bed, but Thomas wasn't there.
I sighed and climbed out of bed.

I slowly walked down stairs and walked into the living room to see Thomas lying on the sofa.
At least he came home, but why didn't he come to bed?

I went into the kitchen and began to make a coffee and I placed a slice of bread in the toaster.

I sighed again and rested my elbows on the counter and tucked my head into my hands.

"'I am no where near a princess' she screamed with power and fury even though she is a princess in my eyes."
Someone grabbed my waist and rested their head on my shoulder. "'I just Left my parents and all I gave them was a phone call of a goodbye which was the only contact I had After months of seeing and speaking to them! At least I had the nerve to phone them up!' You were amazing." They quoted me from last night.
"Thomas?" I asked.
"Who else!" He laughed.
"I'm so sorry, It just all came out, I was so frustrated and angry how he didn't even care about what had happened. I'm really sorry Tom-"
He interrupted me "are you kidding? I wish I stuck up for you more." he began to laugh "I could never of asked for a better girlfriend!"
"Then, why were you shaking your head and telling me to calm down?" I asked.
"Because, Jace looked like he was about to cry and I was about to join in screaming with you! And if I did my mum would hate us!" He laughed and I joined in.
"I was good wasn't i?" I laughed.
"You were amazing!" He replied.
"Wait," I stopped laughing "what did your mum say them?"
"Well, story cut short, she was a little bit annoyed, but then I explained everything and I think she's secretly on your side!" Thomas replied.
"No way!"
"Yes way!" He laughed.
"But, why didn't you come to bed last night?" I became serious.
"Oh, I was drunk" he laughed "and I didn't want to wake you up."
"Do you have a hang over?" I asked.
"Yes!" He buried his head on my shoulder.
"Right, go to bed and sleep then. I'll bring you some water!" I laughed.
"I love you Y/N." He kissed my cheek.
"I love you too Tommy."
