The flight was a typical one.

The kid behind me spent the first hour kicking my chair before he finally fell asleep.

Because it was about a 9hour flight the seats were more comfy than a 2 hour flight. And there were also some good films on that I could pass the time with.

I had an aisle seat but the good thing was I could see Thomas and Hazil a couple of rows in front. They hadn't seen me yet but they would have to come past me for the toilet soon enough, I just hoped it was Thomas first.

Sometimes I got glimpses of Hazil, all I could see was her black eyeliner bleeding off of her face.

We were about half way when I saw Thomas stand up.

My heart raced as he walked towards me.

I flattened my hair and straightened my clothes.

Then we made eye contact.

Just a pure second of complete eye contact, there was no emotion. Just his dreamy eyes staring into mine, I wish it stayed like that, but we are human and we have emotions.

His eyes didn't turn to happiness and relief, it was nothing like the movies.
They turned to angry, and I honestly felt scared.

He walked right up to me.

"Y/N, what are you doing here?" He demanded more than asked.

"Surprise!" I smiled.

"Y/N, this isn't funny!"

"I know, I know. I just need you to listen." I stood up from my seat.

"Why are you here?" He asked again.

"To tell you what really happened." I replied.

"Y/N, you can't. And you know you can't." He replied, walking away, but I wasn't finished.

"Why not?" I wished I never asked that, because I already knew the answer, but for some reason, I thought he wouldn't say it out loud. But he came up to me and whispered it ever so quietly, like he didn't want to hear: "because, now that I've got Hazil to look after, and she obviously doesn't like you for some strange reason, but you know that she will probably come to me because of Custody and family comes first, Y/N. And I can't have someone she hates in her new home. We can't be a thing anymore Y/N. I'm sorry." Then he walked down the aisle leaving me all alone.

I sat back in my chair and allowed the tears to fall.
