As soon as I walked into the flat I knew it was perfect.
It had a short hallway with a hook at the side for coats and I could probably put a shoe rack down there aswell.
Then it open into a large living room.
After that there was four doors leading into different rooms.
The first door went into the kitchen which was a open space, so it wasn't cramped, it had an island in the middle with high chairs tucked underneath. The island had a clear surface but had dark wooden poles standing it up.
The cupboards were the same colour as the poles. And the fridge and cooker were silver.
The next room was a large master bedroom.
It had a built In mirror wardrobe and a TV which was opposite a large bed. After that was a spare bedroom, not as big as the master bedroom.
Then finally there was a large bathroom with everything you wanted.
I looked at Thomas and nodded.
I whispered "I like it."
"I thought you would, I do too. It seems safe. What do you want to do?" He asked.
"I want to buy it."
He smiled "good choice."
I agreed on the payment and was going to meet the woman again to give payment and get the keys in a few days.
Me and Thomas drove to the same little coffee shop we went to a few days ago. We both got a latte and sat at the same table.
"Why have you been single for so long?" Thomas suddenly asked.
I looked at him trying to see if he seriously asked me that.
"Y/N?" He pushed.
"I don't want to say." I replied.
"Oh come on, can't be that bad."
I looked at him, anger filling my gut.
"Y/N?" He asked again.
Then it just came out.
The truth.
The truth why I lost my best friend.
Why I hate myself.
Why I have had nothing but bad luck.
"I went out with my best friends boyfriend."
