I sat in shock. Unsure what to do.

Something parents are meant to do is be supportive and helpful and make all the stress go away not to tell you you're never going to get anything sorted out.

"Dad, are you serious?" My sister spoke up.

"You're in a mess, I'm fed up of helping you H/N." He said.

My sister got up from the chair and walked over to him "what are you fed up of? Being my dad? Being Y/N's dad? If you're fed up with us then let us make our own decision!" My sister screamed.

"You both have total freedom to do whatever you want, and you know that." He said proudly even though it was a total lie.

"Are you kidding?" I asked, feeling anger in build my gut. "What freedom? I told you i didn't want to move to America, didn't i? What did you tell me? I remember you saying 'stop being so selfish and come with your family'! I was so happy! I had an amazing uni! I wanted to sort out things with my best friend who I have no chance with! I blame you!" I screamed.

"How can you say that to your father?" My mum asked.

"Oh come on mum! You're no better! You know the truth! I spent many hours telling you how I was finally loving school and you said you were proud and happy! BUT YOU TOOK IT AWAY FROM ME!" I screamed. "YOU THINK THAT ME AND S/N WILL STAY BECAUSE YOU'RE OUR PARENTS! S/N MADE A MISTAKE! WE ALL HAVE!" I went mad. "Oh and I forgot to tell you that I'm buying my own place!"

My sister looked at me and smiled.

Finally, one of us had said what we had been thinking.

"I didn't know you felt like that." My mum replied.

"How did you think I would feel? All happy happy? This isn't a Disney film mum! This is real! We aren't a happy family anymore!" I screamed.

"She's right mum." My sister agreed. "We didn't want to come. We were both happy in the UK. It was our home."

"Well why don't you move back?" My dad said angrily.

"For the same reason we came here. Because of our parents! You won't of let us go!" My sister replied.

"You girls are still too young!" My dad said.

"Dad! Stop! We are way to old to be bloody living with you! I'm going to bed! Tomorrow, I'm moving out." And with that I ran up stairs to my room and cried into my pillow.

We were never going to be a happy family again.
