I swear my heart skipped a beat.
"Alice?" I whispered.
"Listen, I just had a argument with my parents and I left and I can't go back, can I come to yours?" She asked, crying.
"Is this Alice Golding?" I asked.
"Yes! Y/N, I need you."

I was so shocked.
It was so hard to take it all in.
After all this time, she was speaking to me like I saw her last week.

"Y/N, you there?" She asked.
"Er, yes, no I don't live there anymore sorry, I live with my boyfriend now."
"Perfect! What's your address?"
"Alice, I don't know if that's a good idea." I looked over to Thomas who was giving me a worried look.
"Y/N, please just help me."

I sighed and gave in.

Minutes later a knock blasted through the house.

I opened the door to see a broken girl.

"Y/N!" She screamed, running up to me and hugging me.
"Are you drunk?" I asked.
The first possible thing I could say after all this time was 'are you drunk?'.

"No! I'm upset! Come on, Y/N! It's me!" She screamed.
"It is indeed!" I replied. I wasn't actually very excited to see her. I had spent countless hours crying over the argument, I thought she hated me, why has she come back like this?
But most importantly, why does she still have my number.

"Why are you here?" I asked.
"What a welcome-"
I interrupted her "why have you been crying?"
Her eyes were blood shot and her voice was muffled, but like normal, she tried to cover up her pain. But never managed it and would fall and come to me; I always repaid the favour.
"Now that's a story and a half." She replied.

"Y/N?" I spun around to see Thomas. I ran up to him and grabbed his hand.
"Oh, Alice, meet Thomas. Thomas meet Alice." They exchanged smiles. "Alice, Thomas is my boyfriend." I said slowly and securely.
"Yes, and do you remember mine?" She said coldly and I flinched.
"I said I was sorry." I whispered.
"Sorry isn't always enough Y/N."
How could she say that? I just welcomed her into my house, I was about to scream but Thomas felt my tension and spoke up "why don't you come in and we can sort everything out?" Thomas asked.
"That would be great!" Alice smiled and pushed past me and walked straight into the living room and fell onto the sofa.

I followed her.

I sat opposite her on a different sofa with Thomas next to me.

"Oh great!" I looked over to the door to see Hazil. "Let's just invite all of Y/N's stupid friends."
"Hazil!" Thomas scolded.
"Who's that?" Alice asked.
"My niece." Thomas replied.
"Wait a minute!" Hazil walked into the room and straight up close to Alice "are you Alice Golding?"
"Yes, how do you know who I am?"
"I want to sit down," Hazil sat on a different sofa and pulled her knees up to her chest as if she was really interested "this is going to be good."
