I let a tear roll down my face.

"Y/N-" he didn't say anything after that, he couldn't.

Its awful cheating.

It kills the person you hurt but it kills you aswell.

"I had no idea that he was her boyfriend. No idea. I knew she had a boyfriend but I hadn't met him. She wanted it to be just right when I met him. I think she had this big idea, she always made this big, amazing ideas that I always followed no matter what they were because if they failed it would still be an amazing trail towards the failure. I can't really remember what happened. I was 19 and it was a big party with alcohol so obviously I drank it. I think I must of kissed him and she must of saw because I woke up the next day with a banging headache. I sent her a text message saying 'great party last night!'
I didn't get a reply for hours, it usually took her minutes.
But when I did I felt like I had stabbed a pin into my thumb a thousand times. It said 'how do you have the nerve to text me? I thought we were my best friend! You make me sick! Don't ever talk to me again!' I phoned her and phoned her but I didn't get an answer. I sent her messages begging her to tell me what happened and that I didn't remember but she didn't reply.
By mistake I saw her shopping once. I ran to her, honestly, I ran. 'H/N, its Y/N!' She looked at me, never can I forget her expression, it was nothing but hatred.
'Leave me alone Y/N' she growled.
'H/N, listen, I must of done something bad but I don't have a clue what, honestly, I don't know. I'm sorry if I hurt you I want to take it back, all of it!' I remember feeling my eyes fill with tears.
'You wrecked a relationship that was so perfect, something I wanted for so long!' I remember her standing centimetres away from me. 'You kissed him right in front if me. So forget it! Have a good life Y/N! But I don't want to know!'
She walked away from me after that, just left me there with tears rolling down my cheeks.
Before I moved here I sent her a text saying 'H/N, I'm going to move to America soon, I miss you and I'm so sorry for what I did. Please, forgive me.'
A few days later I got a reply saying 'I thought I told you I didn't want to know.'
I lost it. I cried and I cried. She was my other half. She was what made me smile and I loved her. I wrecked the friendship and I hate myself for it."

I breathed, finally getting it all off my chest. I realised that I had tears bleeding from my eyes like a fresh open wound. "You're probably like 'who have I made friends with?' But whatever I did it wasn't me. I don't know what happened, but I haven't been in a serious relationship for so long and I get lonely when there's no one who cares like all my friends have. But I don't know. But I promise I'm not a cheater, I hate it. I think about it when I go to sleep and when I wake. It haunts my bones, Thomas it burns my heart."

He stilled stared at me, shocked by what I had just said.

"Okay." I slowly got up and grabbed my bag and tucked my chair in. I tried to take deep and long breaths. "Thank you for making my days fun and interesting, I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner. Thank you Thomas, it was nice meeting you." I looked at him for another few seconds, but he didn't stop me when I walked out of the coffee shop and into my car.
I turned on the engine to try to block out the sounds of my never-ending tears.
