"Y/NNNNN!"

I nearly jumped out of my skin when Thomas shouted for me.

"YES?" I replied.

Then I heard loud footsteps and within seconds Thomas was standing in front of me.

"I can't believe this." He sighed, in his hand he held a large bundle of papers all clipped together.

"What's happened?"

"So I got The Death Cure script..."

"That's perfect!" I screamed.

"No! It's not!" 

"Why?"

"Just read;" he handed me the script and I started from the top.

In acrylic writing it read 'Thomas steps out of van, nervous and weary, looking around. He approaches Newt. Newt is tense and intimidating. Newt looks like he's been in fights and his clothes are ripped.

Thomas: Newt? Its Thomas

We see Newts wrists clench and his pupils narrow.

Newt: I bloody remember you Tommy! You just came to see me at the palace, rubbed it in that you ignored my note. I can't go completely crazy in a couple of days!

Thomas: why are you here then?

Newt (sad and scared): it comes and goes. I can't really explain it. Sometimes I can't control myself, I don't know what I'm doing. But usually it's like an itch in my brain, makes me angry

Thomas: but, you seem alright now

Newt: yeah, well, I have to be with these or I'm dead. If you find yourself alone then you don't have a bloody chance

Thomas starts to slowly approach Newt: newt, come with me this time, right now. We can take you somewhere safe

Newts head twitches and laughs: get away tommy, get out of here

Thomas: please come with me

Newt (his eyes narrow again and his fists clenched tighter): shut up you shuck traitor! You didn't read my note! You can't do one last lousy thing for me! You always have to be a bloody hero! I hate you tommy! I hate you!

Thomas looks hurt and grits his teeth: newt

Newt (his face turns red and spits as he speaks): it was all your fault! You could've stopped it! But no! You had to keep going and try to save the bloody world! What a hero! all you care about is yourself! Just bloody admit it! Gotta be the one people remember, the one they worship! We should've thrown you in the box! Sent you right back! Fed you to the bloody Grievers

Newt takes large steps towards Thomas

We see Lawrence in the background lift a gun: IM GOING TO BLAST HIM

Thomas: Dont! It's just me and him! Please, don't do anything! Newt, please stop, just listen, okay? I know your in there, please just listen

Newt (close to Thomas now): I hate you so much tommy! After everything I did for you, you can't do one bloody thing! I asked for one thing! I can't even look at your ugly shuck face

Thomas (takes two steps back): newt, they will shoot you. Please stop. Get in the van, I will tie you up if it makes you feel better, give me one more chance.

We see tears in Thomas's eyes.

Newt lets out a scream and tackles Thomas to the floor, missing a lightening shot fired from Lawrence.

Newt: I should rip your eyes out! Why'd you come over here? You expected a bloody hug? A nice sit down and talk about good times in the Glade

We see Thomas slowly reach for a gun to his right

Newt: you wanna know why I got this limp, Tommy? Did I ever tell you? I don't think I did

Thomas: what happened?

We see Thomas's fingers slide across the gun

Newt: I tried to kill myself in the maze. Climbed bloody halfway up the walls and jumped off! Alby found me and dragged me back to the glade right before the doors closed. I hated the place, Tommy. I hated every second of every single bloody day! And it was all your fault

Newt twists in a fast movement. And grabs Thomas right hand which is holding the gun, he yanks the gun so the point is against his forehead

Newt: make amends, tommy! Kill me before I become a cannibal monster! I trusted you with the note! You! No one else! Just kill me!

Sweat pours off Thomas's head, tears in his eyes 'I can't. I just can't'

Newt: make amends! Repent for what you have done. Kill me you shuck coward! Do it! Put me out of my misery

Thomas: maybe we can-

Newt interrupts him: shut up! Just shut your shuck hole! I trusted you tommy! So do it

Thomas: I can't

Newt: do it

Thomas: I can't Newt! I can't

Newt: if you don't do it I'll kill you! Kill me! Do it!

Thomas: no

Newt screams: KILL ME!

Close up on Newts wrists on Thomas become less tense. We see his eyes, his eyes become softer as he whispers: please, tommy, please

The camera goes to Thomas eyes. A tear falls from his eyes and we hear a loud bang like a gun shot. There is a ringing as we see Newts body fall on Thomas's. The ringing continues as Thomas pushes Newt to the ground with his eyes closed and runs to the van

End of scene'

"Oh Thomas." I sighed "I think Newts dead."
