I squeezed through the large glass doors.
My hands and arms were covered in bags and we were still shopping.
She's either buying stupid things that she will never use or very expensive things."Y/N! Hurry up!" She moaned as I fought against the glass doors.
"Ma'am can I take your bags for you until you finish your shopping?" A man dressed in a black suit and tie asked, I knew this was an expensive shop, I can't afford any of their stock.
"Er... Yes please." I slowly loaded my bags onto the mans hands and ran off after Hazil.
"Hazil, I'm sorry, but I can't actually afford anything in this shop, I'm running our of money as it is, maybe we could just go home now." I slightly pleaded.
But all I received was silence.
She was staring at a long beautiful dress. It was rose red with a chain that wrapped around the neck.
The girl lost her eyes in it. But as I looked closer I saw the tears forming in them.
"Hazil?" I whispered.
She blinked repeatedly and then stared at me.
"That was my mums dress." She replied, shocking me with her honesty.
"Oh. Er," I was speechless "do you want to try it on?"
"She loved it, she wore it to our last meal. I did try it on but she looked so beautiful in it, it didn't fit right on me but she did the motherly thing and said 'oh Haz, are you kidding me? You look beautiful.' Even though I knew she was lying I allowed myself to believe her but she did look pretty in it." She looked back at the dress and smiled.
I stood and stared at the girl as she tried to fight back the tears "what did you wear at the night?" I asked.
"Oh, I wore a skintight dress. It was pink with flowers flowing around it-its nicer than it sounds trust me." She laughed. It was like a completely different girl.
"And obviously dad just wore a suit and tie like that door man over there." She laughed "look at his face though! Its so scrunched up!"
"Hazil! You can't say that, well you could at least whisper it." I laughed and looked other to the poor man "actually, I can see what you mean, it's like someone just placed their hands on either end of his face and squeezed." I laughed, and to my surprise, so did Hazil.
"And did you smell him on the way I in?" She asked.
"Was that him!" I laughed, I couldn't mistake the horrible smell that filled the doorway.
"Yeah!" Hazil laughed again. We stood there and secretly made fun of the door man for the next few minutes until I stopped when I saw Hazil looking at me seriously.
"You know what Y/N." She began "your not that bad, I'm sorry I've been a bit mean and spent all your money today."
I was thrown.
Did she just apologies to me?
I looked at her to see if she was sincere, but I couldn't see any ounce of humour in her eyes.
"It's okay Hazil, I understand." I smiled.
Then she hugged me.
She just reached up and hugged me.
"Maybe we could be friends?" She asked.
"Er, yeah sure."
Something about this seemed too personal, but nevertheless, I hugged her back and carried on with the shopping trip.
