The silence that surrounded me, Thomas and the new girl was deafening. After a painful 30 seconds Thomas cleared his throat. "my sister, died it a car crash. We need to get back for my mum. We can get the tickets tomorrow, I'm sorry I took a long time."

I ran up to him and practically leaped into his arms.

"I'm so sorry Tommy. I've made you some spaghetti-"

"Oh Y/N," Thomas interrupted me "I'm sorry, but we got a McDonald's before we came back, I should of got you some. I'm sorry."

You know that burning sensation you get after you do something and then don't get the appreciation you deserve tumbles in your stomach. Well that happened just then but I took a break and filled my mouth into a smile "Oh don't worry! How about you and Hazil sit on the sofa, get Netflix on and pick a good series. I don't think you will get much sleep tonight so we can sit down and watch some good stuff. I think I've got some popcorn and sweets. How does that sound Hazil?" I asked the girl.

"Don't talk to me like that!" She barked "I'm 15!"

"Hazil!" Thomas glared at her.

"No, it's okay Tommy-" I tried to speak but I was interrupted again.

"And I'm not sleeping on the sofa!" Hazil replied.

"Er, well, okay. You can sleep in the master bed and I'll sleep on the sofa." I smiled.

"Good!" Hazil walked past me and landed on my sofa. She put her feet on my coffee table and kicked her shoes off so they scattered on the floor.

Thomas joined her.

I walked over to my meal and decided it was worthless.
I sighed as threw it carelessly in the bin.

I looked over at the sofa to see Thomas had left me a place.
He looked over at me and smiled.

I slumped next to him and cuddled up into his chest.

"I thought I was sitting next to Thomas?" Hazil looked at me with complete disgust.

"Hazil-" Thomas began but I stopped him.

"No, Tommy. It's okay, we've had plenty of hugs, and she's your neice. Swap with me Haz!"
I got up and stood in front of her.

She gave me an awful glare "don't you ever call me Haz! Again!"
She stood up and knocked my shoulder.
She sat down nearly in sync with me.

And that's how I spent the rest of the night; a 15 year old sat inbetween me and Thomas. On a sofa I had cried on for missing him. With my house a wreck with the girls shoes scattered everywhere in a flat that I took great proud in owning.
But the worse thing of all, the thing that made it truly horrendous, was the fact that if I wanted Thomas, Hazil came with him.
