"I just need one ticket on your next flight!" I was beginning to get agitated at the stewardess.

She had seen my passport over 10 times, asked my name and address over 20!

"Okay ma'am, I just need to ask you some security questions."

"What for the 6th time?" I replied.

"I just need you to be very patient, ma'am." She replied with a cheesy grin. "How old are you ma'am?"

And the questions kept going and going until finally:
"Okay ma'am, I've got one seat in the middle isle for London at 12:30, just for you." The woman clicked at her little computer "that will be $307 please."

"$307, are you kidding?" I replied.

"Because it is such short notice, you have to pay full price."

"Fine!" I reached out for my credit card, stabbed it into the little machine and pounded in my key.

"Thank you ma'am, your flight will began boarding at 12:15 at bay 8. Enjoy your flight." The woman smiled, handed me my ticket and passport and sent my luggage which I packed in about 5 minutes but I've left half my stuff in my little flat.

I walked over to bay 8, sat down in one of the slumped chairs.

I reached for my phone to find it was only 10:30 and I was the only person sat in bay 8.

So I grabbed my handbag and found a Costa Coffee. I bought a Peach Ice Lemonade and went to a small shop and bought a magazine and then went back to Bay 8, drank my refreshing drink and  read the magazine. As I waited for Thomas to walk through the large opening to the small room.
