Chapter 17: Diner

-Ella's Pov-
I hear a large bang from outside the room and roll over to see Calum's still asleep. I look at the nightstand and carefully reach over him to grab my phone.

"Morning," he mumbles, stretching his entire body.

"Sorry if I woke you up," I tell him. He gives me a small smile making me confused, "What?".

"I just like having you over that's all," he says, making my cheeks glow.

"As much as I like the idea of staying in your bed all day. I have to get out before Luke sees. He may know about us but he definitely doesn't wanna see it," I tell him. Calum rolls his eyes, pinning me to the bed.

"Now that your sober whats stopping us from having a little fun," he whispers, placing his face in the crook of my neck.

"Guys, we are leaving to get food in 10," Michael says barging in. He sees Calum on top of me and fake gags, before shutting the door.

"He's stopping us," I tease. I get off the bed and pull my jeans back up, since I don't have a change of pants. I walk into Calum closet and steal a hoodie cause it's gonna be cold today.

"Do you mind if I wear this?" I ask, peaking my head out from behind the closet door. I didn't think he would be so close and see him nodding his head as he grabs a shirt from behind me. I pause and grabs a gray hoodie and red flannel from the closet.

"Wear these," I tell him. He gives me a looks as he slides a hoodies on, placing the flannel over it. He looks in the mirror and adjusts it before turning to me. Instead of saying anything I just plant a small kiss on his lips, leaving him to go into the living room.

"Where are we going to breakfast?" I ask, seeing a hungover Ashton.

"What did you guys have an after party at your place?" I ask, sitting down on the floor.

"We might of had a few more drinks," Allison says, leaning her head on Jessie.

"What time is it?" Jessie asks, grabbing her phone out. Someone says it's half past 10 and she springs up.

"Shit, I'm gonna be late for work. I had to pick up a shift for a sick coworker," she says grabbing her things, "I'll see everyone soon," she says, running to give Michael a quick kiss.

"Now I'm gonna be a 3rd wheel," he groans.

"Technically it would be a 7th wheel," Luke points out. He glares at my brother as he sinks into the couch. I see Ashton and Allison whispering until they stand up.

"We are going back to bed. Can you please bring us home pancakes?" He asks. I nod my head and they happily go back to his apartment.

"Now a 5th wheel," Luke jokes. Everyone but Michael laughs as we pile out the door to the diner we found. It's not too far of a walk and the foods not terrible.

"How was your night last night?" Michael asks, winking at me. I look to Luke and see him eyeing me suspiciously.

"It was fun...," I say trying not to go into detail. Michael drops the subject as we walk into the diner. The hostess tells us it's a short wait and we stand outside so we aren't in the way. Calum sees me shivering and pulls me into his chest, wrapping his arms around me.

"When did it get so cold?" I ask, feeling Calum's hands cup mine.

"The weather is funky recently. It's summer and it's 50°. It's supposed to be back up to warmer weather by the end of the week. We will be swimming in no time," Kennedy says.

"I am not excited for school. It's gonna suck not having you guys there," I say to Calum, Michael, and Luke.

"Sucks to be young doesn't it," Michael says.

"We are barely two years younger than you," Kennedy points out.

"It feels so gross to be dating old men," I tease. The hostess comes out and tells us our table is ready. Calum holds me back, "are we dating?" He whispers.

"I don't know. I guess whenever you get the balls to ask me out will be the day we are," I tell him. He looks at me with an amused smirk as I walk into the diner. He follows in after me, sitting across from me in the booth.

"I'm so exited for some food," Luke cheers, looking over the menu. I am pretty hungry.

"So, when's the next party?" Luke asks, making all of us groan.

"Seriously, we just woke up. It's at your apartment next. Ours is trashed," Calum tells him.

"How about tomorrow night?" He asks. We all just give him a look as the waitress comes over. Now that they have freedom to party whenever they want doesn't mean they should. This is gonna be an eventful weekend.
