—Ella's Pov—

The group has now split up, the boys in the kitchen and the girls by the fire pit. I can't stand Lily, all she talks about is how amazing Calum is. If he's so amazing why aren't you with him right now? Every time she speaks its like nails on a chalkboard.

"Jessie, how long have you and Michael been talking?" Kennedy asks.

"For a couple weeks. I'm gonna be honest I thought Ella and Michael were dating so I stayed away. But then he said he was single at one of his gigs," she says.

"WHY DO PEOPLE KEEP THINKING THAT?" I yell, causing the girls to laugh.

"Cause you do. But you and Dean are so cute. How long has that been a thing?" Jessie asks.

"It's recent. He's way out of my league but I'm gonna run with it," I joke.

"What do you think the guys are doing?" Lily says, sipping on her fruity drink.

"Probably playing darts in the basement. I'm so happy we finally equal the number of guys," Kennedy says.

"We should hang out without them one day," I mention. Jessie agrees and passes me her phone to put my Snapchat in. I type in Kennedy's for her, passing the phone to Allison. We decide to go crash the guys hangout inside, since the fire is dying down and it's chilly. We start walking before I realize I forgot my phone.

My phone rings on the table next to Lily , "Would you mind passing that over?" I ask. She nods her head and pauses to read the text. Who does that? I stand next to the pool waiting for her to hand it over.

"Why is Calum texting you?" She asks, sounding annoyed

"I don't know. Can I have my phone to see what he said?" I ask. She walks down next to me and fake screams throwing my phone in the pool. Kennedy gasps as I dive in for it. I grab it off the bottom seeing it turn off when it fully submerges. The heaters for the pool are off, sending a chill down my spine as I crawl out.

"What the fucks your problem?" I ask, walking inside before she can answer. I grab the rice out of his cabinet and dump it into a bag, sealing it up with my phone inside. This better still be working or I will not hesitate to smack a bitch.

"How is it?" Jessie asks coming in with Allison and Kennedy.

"No idea. I guess we will check on it in a little bit," I say, shivering in the air conditioning. Kennedy passes me a towel as we walk downstairs seeing all the guys drinking on the couches. Dean sees me soaking wet and walks over, "We didn't know you guys were swimming again," he says.

"Calum's psycho new friend threw Ella's phone in the pool," Kennedy says, giving her a look.

"There was a spider on it. It scared me, accidents happen," she lies.

"I have an extra change of clothes in my car," he says, taking me back upstairs. He runs out to his car and grabs his bag, running back inside.

"Thank you..." I whisper, going into the bathroom. I change into his sweatpants and muscle tee. When I step out of the bathroom I see Luke talking with Dean.

"What actually happened?" He asks, going into the kitchen to see my phone.

"Calum texted me, she read the text, and then chucked my phone into the pool. There was no spider. The chicks psycho," I tell him. He listens to my story and just tells me to let it slide for the rest of the night. No use causing a fight. I roll my eyes following him downstairs with Dean. She's sitting in Calum's lap, whispering in his ear.

I look to Allison and Kennedy and see them both glaring at her. I can't help but laugh at at the two, while Jessie and Michael are playing ping pong in the corner. I sit on the love seat with Dean, resting my head on his shoulder. He grabs my legs so they are resting on his body, with his hand resting on my thigh. He runs his hands up and down my legs trying to warm me up.

"You better watch those hands mister," Luke warns. He puts them up in defense, putting his arm around my shoulder instead.

"Don't mind him, he's just fulfilling the overprotective older brother role," I tell him. He nods his head listening to everyone talking around us.

"How was hanging out with the guys, they didn't give you any trouble did they?" I ask.

"No, they are all really cool. Calum kept giving me attitude...not really sure what that's about," he tells me. I look over at Calum and see him walking upstairs, leaving Lily behind.

"I'm gonna go talk to him. He's been an asshole all day. I'll be right back, I promise," I tell him. I skip up the stairs following him into the kitchen.

"What's your deal tonight?" I ask, cornering him by the fridge. He ignores me grabbing another beer, going to walk past me again. I put my arm out and he just looks down annoyed.

"Move"

"No, what's your problem? You throw a ball at my head when I'm about to kiss Dean, your new girlfriend threw my phone in the pool cause of your text, and now I just found out that you've been a dick to Dean for no reason," I tell him.

"If Dean can't handle some sarcasm he's got bigger problems," he says, making my blood boil.

"So, you're not gonna deny throwing the ball at me?" I ask.

"Grow up little Hemmings. So what your phone got wet and someone threw a ball at you," he says while laughing. I take the beer out of his hand and walk away. Fucking asshole. I grab the handle to walk downstairs when he spins me around, pressing me flat against the door. Before I can push him off me, he connect our lips, running a hand from my cheek to the base of my neck. My lips move with his as I work my hands to his face. I break free for a second realizing what's happening, "we can't do this," I whisper, not being able to take my eyes off his lips.

"Why cause your wearing some other guys clothes?" He asks, placing a hand under the fabric, resting on my hip.

"That's exactly why"
